I'm sure you're right. It's just that I have a ton of experience building PCs and I'm pretty sure it's the cards and not me that are the root of my problem.
I have the two 680 GTX Classifieds plus all original boxes and packaging plus the EVGA Waterblocks and back boards for each all NIB and untouched. It's like $1700 worth of stuff new so I'll probably EBay it or I would sell them to someone here as long as they understand that I had issues with the boards.

What issues? SLI issues? If so just sell them seperately.

First it was game crashing with the last set of beta drivers which led to full on computer lock ups. Sometimes I'd get a screen of just muddled multi-colored graphics with the lock up. Sometimes the fans would ramp up also along with a crash. The cards are run at stock settings with the exception of some bench marking then they're rolled right back down to stock.
I rolled back my drivers and everything was great until recently when I started getting the crashes again. I'm on the newest beta drivers now (320.49) and so far so good.

There are rumors for both it seems. They may be skipping 9xxx series.

Just read somewhere that 8000 series is going to be OEM only. I noticed that Alienware has been offering builds with 8950s for a little while, and apparently they're nothing more than rebranded 7950s. That might be the case across the 8000 series, so it's pointless anyway.

they should just name the next series after planets from KSP. I have been enjoying the living shite out of that game for the last week or so.
