It doesn’t really matter to people who like to play randoms online; it matters a lot to people who like to play people they know online. As online communities have tended toward becoming more toxic, there has been a bit of a resurgence towards wanting cross play to recapture a bit of the old LAN party vibe.

Honestly I’m going to be so balls deep in my own offline dynasties and RTG that I won’t even have time for an online dynasty anyways.

I was hoping to play dynasty mode with my friends/family like we did back in 2003-2006. We live all over the country now so playing this online would be awesome.

I would take everything said online with a grain of salt unless it comes directly from EA. Matt Brown is the only guy spot on with his stuff and he’s very cautious with what he’s said. They apparently had some media guys fly in for an in person deep dive which Matt Brown took part in but he said on social media that he’s on an embargo until whenever EA does their own reveal.

38 of LSU's players have not opted-in to EA Sports College Football 25.
15 are freshmen or transfers that have not yet joined the team. EA Sports had a deadline of April 30th to opt-in.

Could be multiple things.
Some of them probably thought it was an automatic thing.
Some of them probably thought it was an opt out not an opt in situation.

I noticed there was no SEC logo on the field. Doesn't matter though, because I'm moving their arse (and OUs) back to the Big 12.
