Ok, is CODMW worth buying

I didn’t like the last ww2 game and currently I enjoy playing Apex. What’s the consensus on this board?

My brother has it and has said it's one of the better entries in recent years. To me though, even if it is a good CoD game per se, when does running and gunning endlessly finally get old? Especially with new games out there like the Outer Worlds and Death Stranding being released.

I’m loving it. I have put about 20 hours in this week. Feels like Cod4/MW/MW2 and BlackOps. Feet on the ground and no specialist. A couple of guns are OP and footsteps are loud AF but hopefully that will be patched. Avoid TDM and KC and you will be ok.

They need to fix multiplayer so bad right now it’s almost unplayable with the camping and over under shotgun.

It’s more fun than the last 3-4 entries in the series, but I will echo that the camping and maps in general are quite irritating. Would still buy

I like it but it can be pretty buggy at times...which reminds me of the older CODs that turned out to be good games.

Cross platform is a game changer. Most of my friends are on PS4 or PC (I'm on XBox) so being able to hop in a party with them makes it a lot more fun than just running around in random games.
The gameplay itself is a lot better than the last few games, but as mentioned camping and shotgunning are out of control. Hopefully that can be patched.

If they nerf the .725, fix foot steps, have a perk with delayed claymore activation and the game would be more than fine. I have gone t through the headache of completing one of the multiplayer challenge missions. It was tough but rewarding.
The game has a lot of potential if they would patch just a couple of things. Let’s see what happens though.

They don’t need a perk for this. Just change it back to how it was in the old game with a delay before going off. Also, no 360 degree blast and reduce the blast radius. Those things are so broken right now.

yes. I didn't play BO4, but this game feels different. Its fun. And the DLC maps are free.

from a campaign standpoint, it probably would be.
