I pre-ordered ps4 version during my lunch break. GameStop said they were no longer taking pre-orders for the PC version. I didn't want PC and thought he was joking. Literally blew my mind that people have been asking about pre-ordering the PC release.

While I did preorder this on PC so that I could play it this evening with as little delay as possible, I really don't get why anyone would actually go inside a store to preorder a PC game.

I guess there are just more people than I realize who have ISPs that enforce bandwidth caps, and large game downloads put a big dent in the monthly allotment. But with the giant patch incoming, kind of makes it less worthwhile to get a physical copy.
And DVD drives are so goddamn slow.

I am one of those with a pc pre-order. Due to a stupid isp with a data cap. Believe me, I would much rather a digital copy easily downloaded from the convenience of my own home

Yes it's playable in two hours. I'll be on about 9 est when my kids go to bed.

Just bought on Xbone, hope it finishes before it comes out. Really pumped, haven't had a good game to play since my second play through of Dragon Age Inquisition.

So I was contemplating whether or not I wanted to download this game digitally or wait for the physical copy tomorrow at Gamestop. I got on the Xbox Live Marketplace, clicked on The Witcher 3 and saw it was on sale for $53.99. So I could download it, play it tonight AND get it cheaper from the Marketplace instead of waiting until tomorrow to get it from Gamestop and pay $10 more for the physical copy.
In other words, I said FUUUUUUUCK you Gamestop. Cancelled the pre-order and paid off Splatoon while pre-ordering another game and am currently downloading The Witcher 3. All in all, I'm happy with my decision
