what's funny is that the battle pass is "time put in" based instead of XP based. i think that's the case anyway.

I was wondering about this as well. It is hard to tell, but I couldn't really tell a difference in the progression between good games and bad ones.

Just saw a tweet, we have 5 GW maps and 6 6v6 maps

I am truly amazed at how badly they fricked up the maps in this game. That was one thing I really wasn't expecting from COD.

Apex gave the vast majority of its xp by time in game.
I don’t remember how fortnite worked.
These games just can’t favor rewarding good players. Or that’s their thoughts.

So, i haven't played COD in a very long time, and kind of took a hiatus from the old xbox. I recenlty downloaded this COD, and have been playing it. Are you no longer able to vote on which maps will come up on team deathmatch? There's something like 16 maps, and i've only played on 4 or 5, and the same map keeps coming up over and over again.

Map voting has gone away. This is due to the SBMM (score based match making). You get a new lobby 95% of the time after each game. It basically pairs you against people similar to your stats.

I've been away from COD for a while too. I saw in an article that you now have to pay $20 for a DLC pack just to see what your death count is on the scoreboard. WTF?

No. The $20 is part of a pack that comes with a couple other things. A weapon blueprint, character skin, and a weapon charm.
It also comes with a watch that you can see on your players left hand when playing a match. A watch can tell you a couple different things depending on which one you want to wear. Time, rank and yes, your kill/death count. You can still see your kill/death count from the scoreboard just like you always could.
Y’all literally freak out about every little thing. The only thing that should be fixed is remove SBMM and add map voting. Why would you assume that you have to pay to see your score? Lulz

I guess I’m in the minority but I’m having more fun with this CoD than any CoD in the past. Even with the SBMM. It works against me at times and then others I dominate.

Was watching Doug's stream just now and he was talking about this. If you're in a match with someone much worse than you(I'm guessing because of teaming), your gun does less damage against that person than someone of similar skill.
