re: Official Warzone 1.0 Thread - Moving MW2 and WZ 2.0 Discussion to the New Official Thread

I liked almost every change and new feature they added to warzone 2. Only things I'm hesitant on are how you loot boxes having to choose items on a menu pop-up instead of it all dropping on the ground, and then the 2 vs 2 gulag. The AI I'm not so worried about as it didn't look like they were that hard to kill from all the footage I watched.
I'm intrigued by the multiple circles that merge into one final spot during end game, I think that will be very interesting, along with proximity chat. So much potential there. Also weapon customization and attachment progression seem to be what CoD needs going forward. I just hope that since the attachment progression is alot "easier" by being grouped into a weapon tree, that camo challenges aren't absolutely ridiculous like they are in vanguard. Al Mazrah looks pretty dope and it seems like IW have actually listened to what the community actually wants when it comes to Warzone.
Overall, I haven't been this excited for a new CoD since MW3. I think they knocked the Next event out of the park yesterday and they gave alot more info on the game than I really expected.

Yeah the looting system from crates seems pretty annoying. That was basically the only thing I hated about Blackout.
I’ve gotten quite a kick out of the people complaining about loadouts not being in it. That’s what made Blackout great IMO. I’m hoping they add attachments as part of ground loot.

that option is 24hrs old. i can almost guarantee they're out of codes. they might be dropping codes later tonight and throughout the weekend on twitter though.

I've been playing the MW2 Beta for going on 3 hours, and honestly I haven't had this much fun with a COD multiplayer since MW2019. It's refreshing to not have to slide cancel around everywhere or expect it. Just some good ol fashioned gun play. The graphics are also a huge upgrade.

I played it for about 4 hours today and it seems pretty promising. The game plays nothing like MW19. Even outside of no slide cancelling, the gun play feels entirely different and more rewarding.
ETA. My biggest gripe is that TTK is a joke again. Not as bad as Vanguard, but you still kill waaaaay too quickly.
And apparently Shotzzy already figured out a workaround to slide cancel still.

T-minus 12 hours until MWII xbox beta can be accessed! I've been getting more and more excited for this game.
Should there be a new thread started for MWII/Warzone 2.0 when it fully releases or keep this one going? I personally vote for new thread, just so we don't have to go through dozens of pages to find when the new game releases. Idc either way.

I think everyone knew Shotzzy would be the first to break the movement in this game lol. He's my favorite follow for sure, dude is a clown. In other news, 3rd person mode is fun as hell, and I've been able to drum up a ton of clips for YT from the beta. It'll be a long month waiting for the full game to come out, guess I'll be back on Warzone grinding Rebirth for content.
