I tried it thru the menu on cold War. Then did the free MW download. Still nothing. Installation progress stays at zero for a long time and says its trying to join game session. Then it takes me to another menu where everything has a little lock symbol on it. Is this not available yet on ps5 ?

So I have come to this conclusion:
Content creators bitch about SBMM cuz they can’t shite on noobs to create their content.
Enjoyed the frick out of the CW multi last night. Maps are better than MW but the customization isn’t quite as good. It is a nice change of pace in between it and Warzone. Doubt I touch much MW multi unless a gun needs leveling.

CW multi is good stuff. Better than MW no question but Treyarch has always made the better MP since OG Blops.

I only have around an hour played, but I'm not too impressed with the MP. Feels like an arcade shooter, the guns feel like toys. like 3 of the maps are good, most are trash

I enjoy MP regardless of SBMM and generally can put up good numbers 2+ kd but IMO there should be a public lobby without SBMM and a ranked play lobby with SBMM.
I think CW's multiplayer is far and away better than MW so far.
I am sure we will get some classic Black Ops maps which should really keep the game going

Seems they have kind of hidden the idea of kills being the end all in multiplayer. Yeah it was aggravating when you are playing hard point and half the team is trying to play team death match, but kills are kills man. Seems they have taken the millennial participation trophy approach with the game.

tracker.gg has more robust stat tracking than the in-game barracks.
My k/d is only 1.08. But the barracks reports my elims/death at 1.49.
I'll take it for playing maybe 10 matches of Warzone and not playing CoD in years.

Yep it started whenever they removed the combat records from the in game lobbies. Then they changed kills to eliminations and lumped in assists to make players feel like they are killing more people when you look at the leaderboard.
