I've heard people talk about getting in and out of a vehicle somehow fixes the weapon drop glitch, can't really confirm that though. I've had it in the gulag about 5 times in the past week now.

I’m convinced this will never be fixed. The early M4, Grau, and now Bruen were/are all laser beams. There’s really no point in using 90% of the guns in the game.

i'm hearing that the weapon glitches are due to camos. take the camos off and they should work fine.

I pulled mine off last night. TBD if it works tonight. Getting the glitch in the gulag sucks though. The VLK Rogue blocks my entire screen each time. I have to hope they run into my claymore...

Removing camos has not fixed it in my experiences today.

I had it happen on my camo gun (kar98) and not on my blueprint only gun (amax).
Also picked up another teams guns and the camo gun was glitched and the blueprint only wasn't.

I couldnt get into a match last night. For some reason I couldnt join parties, others could join me but would get kicked during match making and I could never get into a game. Then get an error saying server disconnect. Tried restarting the game, pc and running a scan/repair and still nothing. Nat type is open.
Frustrated, i quit, I'll wait until the next patch. This seems to happen for me when there is an update. Not every time but several times.

Balancing guns and making guns serve certain purposes is probably extremely hard with the attachment system in this game. I miss the older systems.

The bruen did get a nerf today. Not sure how big it is.
