Yes it is. Noticed it a lot the last few times I played.

The drop shot drives me nuts.

I also get unreasonably pissed when I get killed by someone with the various tracer rounds

A buddy of mine asked me to fill in on their local WZ “tourny” (no money involved) last week and it was a ton of fun. .5 per kill, points for placements, 9 games or three hours, whatever came first

Not sure how many would be interested in something like that but it looks like a ton on this board are still playing regularly, would be interesting

SBMM is noticeable for sure but imo it doesn’t dissuade need from playing. I still regularly drop great games. I think getting rid of prestiging was a major mistake. There is very little to strive for

We did teams of four and just log your kills per person and placement, I'll see if I can't copy and paste a spreadsheet they have

3 hour time limit or 9 games, whatever came first.

I think a really good game for a quad in this tourny would be a top 5 finish and ~25 kills as a team

Our best was first place and 38? kills

If there's one team that far outshines the rest, it takes the fun out of it pretty fast. This started as a bunch of their RL buddies and one team was obviously stacked, so people lost interest after losing every week by ~70 points, which is when me and another guy got brought in and we still lost, but barely.
