hot damn, nice catch. nice ability too.
you can still catch rare shite dourden. I managed to find a snorlax at low level.
However it will be very WEAK, cp-wise.

I think you do find stronger pokemon as you level up. When I started i was finding < CP50 pidgey and ratatta. Now Im lvl8 and most are above 60 up to around 200 CP.

This is my 1st experience with Pokemon so I could find the rarest one in the game and would be like "cp26" that sucks."

well its kind of a tease because you wont be able to level him up because the Candy that you need will be impossible to get.
so, rare pokemon at low levels are fun for collecting, but if they are cp26 then they are effectively useless.
my snorlax spawned at ~500 and is still my best one. However I haven't used any Stardust in days

I catch everyone I can, but I just wouldn't know if it was a rare or not

if it looks like a rat, a small bird, a bat, a purple weed, a round purple bug, or a worm its not rare
if it looks cool and has a cool name, its probably rare-ish/uncommon/mythic

I said yellow but it's pink. It's in the pokedex or whatever and named. I caught a Chancey. Was just wondering if it was as rare as what it seems to be.

Turned AR back on when trying to catch a Pidgey and it froze again. Tried to wait for the white ball to disappear and it wouldn't. shut down the app and now it won't load. 
ETA: I'm back in, just in time to walk to my car and head home. But, there's nothing showing on my radar right now except a Dodrio a Paras and a bunch of birds, rats and worms. :(

Is it weird that I don't really care about gyms and stuff at this point? Right now I'm just in it for collecting and evolving for nostalgia's sake.
