My game is a whole lot worse since this update. Now I feel like you all saying it freezes every time I catch something.

Damn. That sucks.
Make sure AR is off.
Also..if you freeze...wait until the white circle stops spinning in the top left. Then force close the app. Don't force close while it's spinning.
Has worked for me. Sometimes. I did lose a Beedril to a freeze I'm still salty about

. A lot of parents are having a good time with it with their kids. Parents can't believe how much more kids are riding bikes, walking trails in parks, etc.
Insane how big this thing has gotten in a weeks time.

Samford in Birmingham has been enidated with people, it's absolutely INSANE
ETA: I had a 12 year old walk by a group of us (workers at the library) playing PG during lunch yesterday and scream out, while point at us: "These are my people"

I've found this to be the most effective method when it freezes during a catch.

i turned off AR for awhile when i was having crashes fixed everything pretty much. not as fun but it works.

I didn't have any freeze issues until I started turning AR off (I like it off because they are easier to see.

Another good part of living in a rural area is the ability to walk a lot to hatch eggs
Eggs and incubators are the most valuable thing in the game at the moment IMO
You get rare pokemon and rare pokemon candy, which is priceless.

Since it goes by GPS, if I walk the same street multiple times will it count it? I know Yeezy said yesterday the track only counted 0.3 miles when he ran 2.

Are us city folk not allowed to walk on side walks?
I walk way more in the city than I did when I lived in a rural location.

Depends on how long the street is. If you walk up and down a 1 km block then it might register.
