Mine has been shite today. I've rebooted about 30 times.

I catch something and it freezes. Luckily, it registers as a catch most of the time when rebooting. Anybody have this happen?

I'm sure it has been discussed but what determines what Eevee evolves into? I have gotten 3 Jolteon.

I think the game is much more enjoyable if you live and work in a city. I can imagine it being inconvenient if you live in the suburbs or a rural area.

Nearest pokestop is a quarter mile from, nearest gym is over a mile... it is a bit of a inconvenience

that's just it, if only 1 place in your life is around an urbane area... it's amazing to be in a rural area other times. Rural areas are going to have some amazing pokemon you can just track... urban areas you pretty much have to put down lures and hope for the best.

I'm really lucky and have so many pokestops at work - but then live in the country and can go hunting at night.

I have a church between work and home with three pokestops and a gym. I swing by on my way to work and hit all three. I had to go to wally world at lunch and I think I caught 5 inside the store (nothing special.)

I go to the city to work. There is about 30 poke stops in a 7 block radius.

Then I go home to a smaller community with 3 gyms and 5 poke stops

So better Pokemon show up in more populated areas?

Also how do I get in a clan or whatever?

Same here. I work around about 10 pokestops and 3 gyms with even more in a further radius (hot as balls to go exploring too much). Another is issue is it's a hospital so spotty wifi sometimes and thick buildings.

At home there is 1 gym and 2 pokestops about 1/2 mile away and the only things I've caught in my neighborhood are boring shite.

Might use an incense tonight.

What? I live in an urban neighborhood (not downtown or anything), and I caught Pokemon like crazy last night just walking around a roughly 6 block radius. I only caught like 4 from other people's lures and didn't use any lures of my own.

After you get to level 5 click on one of the gyms and you'll be able to choose your "team" red, blue, or yellow.

Have y'all seen the message from the Gonzales Police Department?

quote:

Both the City of Gonzales and the Gonzales Police Department have received information that a Battle Gym from the new Pokemon Go app is located near the police department, and that Jambalaya Park is being used for "Poke Parties." People have enquired about parking, and here is our official statement -

People cannot park in the middle of any street or road. They cannot block a roadway in case emergency vehicles need to use it. Also, GPD officers use the back entrance to the police department frequently, so having cars parked too closely to exits and entrances would not be a good idea, and may hide obstacles while driving from our officers.

As Kidz Kove Discovery Park has a curfew, we ask that people not park there. People would need to check directly with the VA Hall about parking in their lot, as it is private property.

There is no curfew at Jambalaya Park, so people can play and park there. We do ask, though, that people are mindful and respectful of property, and remind everyone that the area is under surveillance. We will reach out to anyone we see abusing the right to use that space for enjoyment.

Everyone playing this game should be paying attention to their surroundings and stay cautious. The same laws and safety requirements in our city still apply.
