So I'm guessing the footprint bug wasn't a bug and that Niantic simply doesn't want it as a part of the game.

They did change how you transfer too. Now you have to click the circle in the bottom right instead of just hitting transfer. It should help keep from transferring the wrong thing in a hurry during a mass evolve.

Looks like it will be a little bit quicker too. 2 taps instead of having to scroll all the way down and tap.

OK, so I just landed in Indianapolis, and I noticed it has zero pokemon in the nearby menu, and nothing is on pokewhere. Is this normal for everyone, or is my phone fricked up?

I finally caught my first magnemite this morning...It wasn't even on my tracker and I had no pokestops near me so it wasn't a lure. Odd.
Oh well.
My 10k egg became a damn Mr. Mime. Mr. Mime was one of the first pokes I caught. To make it worse, Mr. Mime is on the fricking chart as a 5K egg. I got ripped off

As a long time ingress player and a pogo player, I am very disappointed in Niantic. Eliminating in-game tracking while simultaneously shutting down 3rd party tracking sites is inexcusable.
This may have been done to reduce server strain and/or players trespassing but I'd rather have unreliable servers with tracking than reliable servers without tracking.

That's odd, I had to login in last night but when I did all my info was still there. I doubt your account info was "deleted".
