If none of the major regions' #3 seeds frick up, then WE goes to TSM's group. TSM still should advance. If TSM can't dumpster Misfits then frick everything. Then they just have to take out a beatable FW team.

IMT will really depend on who they get as that last seed. Getting Fnatic would suck, but HKA would give them a pretty good chance to advance.

They are 13 hours ahead of us. So if they start games at 3pm there, it will be 2am cst here. 5pm, 4am...etc

Yea I kind of understood that. My guess is games will probably be starting around 10 @ night.

I remember waking up at 4am a couple years ago to watch the thrashing of C9 by SKT.

The last 2 worlds have started games between times of 12pm-6pm local time, depending on the stage and day.

That means for us in cst, games will begin between 11pm-5am depending on the day. Groups generally started between 2-4 depending on the day, so we can expect starts of 1am-3am.

I think IMT has the highest odds to get out of Groups for NA.

It's basically them versus Gigabyte Marines and either Honk Kong Attitude or Fnatic most likely.

Team WE will be significantly more difficult than any of those 3 IMO.

Good chance for NA to get 2 out of groups.

7.18 Patch Notes

Early game Lee buffs. Cass/J4/Elise/Gragas/Lucian/Rakan/Tristana nerfs.

Fiora is basically the same champ she was when she was originally reworked. They've reverted basically every nerf they gave her. Riot's balance team

I actually like all of those changes, Cinderhulk has needed another nerf more than anything else.

Gragas/Jarvan/Trist have needed some nerfs too.

Ryze/Rengar/Nid get solid buffs, the Fiora reverts should see her make a return to pro play. Azir maybe, he's fun to watch so I hope so.

I don't think the Lee shield buff will be enough to see him come back much at all. Ivern is whatever, Ornn isn't at Worlds, and Elise will still be Elise.

The one that is most confusing to me is Rakan, he is already pick/ban in most regions and has been for awhile, so they give his ult CDR at 2/3? He's already very strong in pro play and now he'll have a 54 second ult cooldown late game with 30% CDR, 48 seconds with 40% CDR.

frick the Fiora buff. That's just full-retard. Everything else is fine. Lee's buff makes his early clears WAY healthier. He could sneak back in with Elise and Gragas getting shite on. Rek'Sai is probably going to go up in priority too.

You missed the part where they cut 1/4 of the effected area off. 50 range doesn't sound like much but it's one of those nerfs that you have to feel more than read.

I didn't miss it, I just don't think it's very big, and the significant CDR of his ult is a bigger buff than that is a nerf. The AOE is just more in line with where it should have been from the get go but still large enough to not hamper the engages in mid to late game team fights much at all in pro play.

Oh damn I missed this news:

OpTic applied for NA LCS spot and has advanced to phase 2. I was wondering when OpTic would get into LCS, RIP FlyQuest or P1 they stand no chance against a brand like OpTic.

OpTic has also expanded its reach by applying for a spot in the North American League of Legends Championship Series and has advanced to Phase 2 of the application process, according to sources.
