I'm always down to play with whomever, especially if it's with 3-4 people I know.

I'm usually doing 5 man premades or ranked teams with my squad, but that usually doesn't happen until around 8 or 9.

I used to be. I got hit pretty hard with the nerfs after season 3. I've pretty much completely quit playing Ahri after playing over 100 ranked games with her last season. I still play Zed pretty heavily, but only situationally. Lately I've been drifting to top/jung simple because of Elise, Riven, and Tryndamere. But if the enemy team locks something like TF, Karthus, Lux, or some other immobile mid laner, you can bet the house I'm gonna lock Zed.

A good tf is scary. I lol at people who pick lux, she does no damage and all of her abilities including ult are simple to dodge. Karthus is ult to win. But I know ahri is useless now. I actually don't like assasins mid unless you're facing a gragas/fizz. I don't like the poke advantage they would have if they were using a Mage.

Karth hasn't been viable since the nerfed him for no reason a few months back. He is so fun though.

Karthus is definitely still viable

As long as there is R on the keyboard, Karthus will work. I'm a fan of sending him top. With the top meta pretty much being an afk farm lane now, Karthus can get huge but never leaving lane and just farming up a storm and pressing R when his team contests objectives.

Every single mid owns his soul and his ratios aren't good anymore. He is not a viable mid lane pick.

Karthus has no HP or escapes and needs items to do any damage. I played him in over 30 ranked games last season and he is outclassed by everyone. His impact is lessened even more is SoloQ.

He needs a perfect team comp to be viable. Most importantly a jungler with hard cc camping his lane. Other than that he gets steamrolled in the laning phase especially if he gets ganked which really isn't worth a global ult.

Debatable if the team can get the game into late game when his global ult chunks the entire team half their HP.

ETA: I'm not saying he's a strong pick, he isn't. But he does have a major impact if he can passively farm up in laning phase and get to that power spike.

The same can be said for Nasus. The game is virtually 4v5 until he hits a certain point.

The only role that I'm potentially above Bronze is jungle.
I wouldn't say I aspire to ADC. It's just the next role I'm learning.

- I can top decently.
- My mid is limited b/c the only viable champ I have left is Orianna.

With all this in mind.... I had to start spending some time in the bot lane. If i get into ranked play and don't know how to play support or adc, what am i gonna do when top, mid, and jungle are picked?

I started off trying to learn support (hoping that by learning one role would allow you to learn the strategy for both), but I found most of the ADC's I got matched with to be so ineffective that it made the support role useless. And given that I don't get to duo much, I have to be able to carry soloQ myself.

So, I'm learning adc b/c support is more difficult in my mind. You have to understand positioning, poking, when engaging is good, and when it's not. If you suck as support, you lose the lane... and the game.

ADC is easier, it's alot like top. Farm, poke, farm... oh my awesome support just stunned someone.
Pew, pew, pew.

I always play support Leona, Thresh or Blitz.
I laugh the entire time I'm landing grabs
Blitz may be my favorite support to play with as a Vayne. It's more deadly than others b/c the "pulled" has to run all the way back. They usually can't make it. Chaining the condemn after the pull is nasty.

(Although, without ADC escapes, playing with Blitz isn't the best idea.)

I'll need to learn Jinx (even though she doesn't have escapes either. ).
I love taking towers, and I'm seeing Imaqtpie eat some 1st and 2nd towers early with the lane swaps. Since the 2nd towers don't have the champ defense buff, it's a solid early game strategy.

My main is mid, but I also have a group I play with, but I'd be willing to play with y'all if I was needed. Id much rather play with a premise than randoms.

Wait for the blitz to auto attack after activating his "E" (another knock up). Depending on how in position my ADC is when I make the grab, it's a guaranteed kill or flash. either way it's a win.

Even at 20% CDR, he gets his ult almost every 20-25 seconds....it's stupid.
W-Q-E-R, repeat. With the Mobi Boots, it just gets ridiculous when chasing people down.
