No, it's a waypoint I accidentally set and now can't get rid of.

It's everything I hoped for and more

It just totally bombed out on me. Like, I had to do a hard reboot.

I chose to end with the brotherhood.
Was epic, and still there's more for them on the main quest.
Also have many side missions to complete as well.
I'm at 36 hours of playtime on PC with only a couple of side missions done.

Any tips for a stealth character? I usually go pistols and auto rifle builds, but this time I've been trying a stealth approach, but damn everything seems to see my arse.

Invest in the sneak perk
Maybe think about putting suppressors on your weapons

Go to the map and select a random open spot on the map and hit the button, it will give you the options to place marker and remove marker. Select remove market and it will remove off the map.

I have the sneak perk at level 3
Am using melee weapons for sneak attacks, so it's pretty silent

Shadow your armor so that you are harder to see. Go to the USAF station North of the reservoir by Sanctuary. There is one sneak magazine there.

I have a stealth / pistols guy. I have rank 3 in sneak and my agility is 10 with boosts from gear. PER is 7. I tend to get seen before I see more often than not, but I am working on getting that silenced 10mm pistol off the road to freedom quest. Should help. One more perk rank in sneak should help too. If I were to start over, I probably wouldn't worry about stealth at all and go for a "soldier" build with emphasis on endurance, perception, and agility to just run in and shoot all the things.
FO4 has lots of closer quarters encounters in cramped streets and buildings. Stealth is less of an asset than it was in past games, but I imagine if you progress in sneak enough, you can sneak around buildings well enough to make it worth while.

Don't be seen.

And FTR, even if you go the full stealth route, it's going to take a decent bit of leveling until you are truly invisible to enemies. Stealth is usually how I run these games and at the beginning, it's almost impossible to sneak up on anyone.

Picked this up yesterday. Looking forward to getting it moving.

Go to Diamond City as soon as you can. Not saying don't do the side stuff at all, but try to get there whenever you get the quest. Game takes on life at that point and you can go from there.

I am level 16, 10 AGI and rank 3 in sneak. I would think that by this point, it shouldn't be too hard to sneak around, yet it is. I will keep going with it, but I have to say it is dicey at best.

I know in Skyrim, certain attire would be louder than others when moving around. Not sure if that mechanic is present in the Fallout games.

I find that walking is better than crouching. Maybe im crazy, but when I walk through a dungeon it seems quieter than crouching.

Apparently, I missed a tool tip early in the game.
Stealth is affected by the weight of your armor.
Investing in enough STR to get armorer and make your armor lighter will help.
I guess I need to do that and gun nut to get some better mods to my stuff and move towards building my character better now that I am lvl 16 and rounding it out.

Yeah. Heavy armor in Skyrim was a no-go if you wanted to go stealth.
