1st dumb arse question...how the hell do you pick locks? Broke 3 bobby pins trying and stuck on the basement mission.

You have to rotate the pick to the correct angle and then turn the screw driver. If the pick isn't in't at the correct angle it will get stuck. The harder the lock, the easier it is to break the pick and the smaller angle "range" you have to work with.

Done with work for the day and supervisor said he'd cover for me if I went ahead and left but damnit, I ain't going to risk that. So I'm going to sit in the parking lot and wait till the manager officially released us. Might be 3 hours from now.

Wiggle (lightly) the screwdriver at 9:00, 10:30, 12:00, 1:30, then 3:00.

It will be loose at one of those points, and adjust from there.

It's amazingly simple once you figured it out, but it frustrated the shite out of me the first game I ran into it so much that I never tried to pick locks.

Played it for a couple hours on a lunch break between classes. I love it. I love customizing guns and just playing with it. I love that seemingly everything in the world has a use so it makes my hoarding tendencies somewhat useful.

Is there method of storage like a locker or something, maybe when you build your settlements?

yep. The most amazing thing is that you can store the crafting components in a certain crafting station and they are available at any crafting station.

For example, you can store your crap in a weapons workbench and head over to a campfire to cook up some delicious roach meat and there it is in the campfire menu already.

I am going through and trying to plan my build. Biggest question mark to me is how worthy the Idiot Savant perk is. It sounds really cool but don't want to cripple my Int for something that isn't worth it.
