I played some BF3 on portal this morning before work, it was really fun, can't wait to test some more when I get off.
They have no idea what they want to do for a game anymore. These big dev teams need to stop making things bigger and with more shite to toss at enemies and narrow their focus. This is just bad.
They should promote whomever had the BF Portal idea and pour all of their assets into that content. Honestly there is no reason to have the BF2042 base game. It’s just a vessel to get us to spend money up front. Hell if they said “We’ll remaster select BFBC2, BF3, BF4 and BF1942 content and charge $60” I’d pay them double.

No server browser and lobbies disband after each game. I'm guessing it's to implement sbmm. This combined with the errors trying to get in makes me not want to play. Out of probably 10 games or so, I think 2 of them started at the beginning of the match. Rest were joined mid match.

Portal has a server browser, it'll probably come to 2042 but clearly portal is their baby.

Just give me all the BF3 maps remastered. Portal is the only reason I bought this game.
I played about 15 hours of BF3 over the last few weeks. It still makes me rock fricking hard.

I feel like they cut content for 2042 on purpose to add into season passes later. There’s like what 22 weapons total? The game will probably feel more diverse in load outs when more content comes out. Right now it just feels barebones.
Hazard Zone needs a few tweaks as well. It’s kinda boring after a few hours. They have a good base. Just need to flesh it out. I really am enjoying 2042. As others have mentioned Portal is awesome.

Yeah me and my friends were really enjoying Hazard mode and all said the same thing afterwards, lot of potential there.
There are rumors of it having a ranked season in January. See where they take it.

Being able to play BC2 Rush is SO frickING COOL! Playing right now and it runs so much smoother than 10 years ago. Lot of fun. Haven’t played this since like 2011 and it’s great.

Played for about 8 hours straight. As mentioned above I do think content was cut to move down the path of season pass. Guns etc. def seems to be taking a looooonnggg time to lvl and get any new guns or equipment. However....the game is loads of fun.
I recall using the acog on that first AR to clear the outside of a building..did that and charged in..took OFF the acog and proceeded to torch the hallways of said building. I would have been dead the moment I stepped in had I not been able to remove the scope. It was amazing.
A sniping headshot sounds like a girl getting that last slurp of her bj in and it feels just as good.
Will play a lot. Can’t WAIT for more guns. Oh and I didn’t touch portal yet.

BF1942 is a damn blast. Never got to play it and love the scenery and weaponry switch up. May be favorite.

The Reddit for the game is like the rant after a loss. I haven’t noticed any bloom. Has anyone else?
Some sniper shots do seem questionable sometimes but it also feels like it just need to be super precise.

I just spent a good 5 minutes jumping around on the Hourglass stadium roof while 2 guys were trying to snipe me from the crane in the middle of it. Holy shite I was dying laughing.

game is fun but lacks polish in many ways...no voice chat, no chat all, scoreboard is dumb, the maps are too big, net code is poor, textures reused all over especially on the Doha map.
