I think normally it would, but with a new Paper Mario game coming out, I don't think they want to take away from the new game

Also saw, they're remastering Mario 64, Sunshine

This could make me finally buy a Switch.

Pretty sure that was something Wario64 on Twitter was spinning about a month or so ago. So it was never confirmed confirmed.

Mario 64 and sunshine remaster will be a must for me.

the remaster part (for Mario 64 at least) is the key word there. I've played Mario 64 in its original form several times, and I love it...but having remastered graphics would take it to a whole other level.

I don't know how reputable VGC is, but IGN linked this article in one of there's

LINK
quote:

VGC can now confirm that among the Mario titles set to appear on Switch are 1997’s Super Mario 64, 2002’s Super Mario Sunshine and 2007’s Super Mario Galaxy.

One person with knowledge of Nintendo’s plans said that the re-releases were being treated as a special anniversary collection of games, rather than standard digital ports.

Wish they would do the same for Mario RPG, but since that's a Square developed game that might be harder to do

still in my top 10 games all time list. i wish someone could do a followup but paper mario is as close as they ever got really. its kinda the rpg extension of the franchise at this point.

How can they do Galaxy without Galaxy 2 - which is the better game. That's weird....

Maybe they’ll combine them into a single game? Call it Super Mario Galaxy Deluxe? Doesn’t seem like it would be that hard. Just have it all take place on Starship Mario instead.

Same haha I will also be buying the new paper Mario. I really did enjoy the first one for the 64 and am visually pleased with the trailer.

Rewatching the trailer this morning, damn it feels "dark" for a Mario game.

i hated sunshine, guess i'll get around to playing it this time

It's actually a pretty fun game. I went back and played it again last year for the first time in forever. My only gripe is the camera rotates in horrible ways when you're trying to balance on a small path. Hopefully they fix the camera issues.

Yeah sunshine was def harder to navigate than 64 and that’s an accomplishment cuz 64 had its flaws...but I feel like it would be a bit easier now at 30 vs 12yo me.
