According to one of his replies on there, he had said to not expect an announcement during the championship game. I'm not going to go back and confirm that, though.

Honestly they are probably loving all this. These twitter rumors are hyping this game up even more for free. Who needs to market when twitter does the work for you.

I would normally say that's a recipe for disaster, but sports games usually get a pass on missing the hype train.

Well I got invited by EA to play test NCAA, but it's in-person in Orlando so I won't be going.

Between EA being... well... EA and the majority of people buying the game will be doing so hoping to recapture the nostalgic of when they were kids playing on PS2/PS3, there is zero chance that this game will not be a huge letdown, isn't it?

Nah I've been close with EA testing for decades. This is through their testing portal. Get invited to all of them in person or online and usually do most of them that are remote.
You get paid in games so it's pointless. Free copy of NCAA and 2 other games of my choice etc.
Release must be soon though if it's at in person testing stage.
