Their CEO already confirmed it is coming out this year. Yearly sports games don’t get huge long promotion like huge franchises (GTA, GOW, etc.) do.
They usually start releasing information about 3 months out and being then their marketing in earnest about 1-2 weeks out from release.

I've never understood why NCAA uses the next year in their games' titles. Yeah, the championship is technically in 2025 but otherwise the entire season will be played in 2024. Never made sense to me and still doesn't lol

Because of the calendar. For the football games, they come out in Mid July and then Mid-August. Over half the year has passed. Same thing they do with new cars.
I believe baseball is the only one who does the current year in their name because of when their season starts and it’s the only one whose season starts and finishes in the same year. NASCAR’s game in the 00s did the same thing.

I understand that. I was using NCAA as an example since that was the topic of the thread. Still doesn't really make a whole lot of sense to me.

Looks like I was close. About a 6-8 weeks of build up for the game.
