Recruiting still takes way to fricking long. I'm fine with it the first year in dynasty but the years after I dread it and can't wait to just play a game.
I wish they just left recruiting for the offseason.

Recruiting in dynasty is a drag.

No doubt.

If you are a defensive player, CPU calls the play and runs/passes away from you.

If you are a QB/WR, you get nothing but running plays called. . .opposite for RB's.

shite's embarrassing. . .and it has been that way since RTG was created.

They need to add in All-American showcase games for recruiting too. Kids and move up or down a star depending on how they do their senior year, etc. The #1 recruit shouldn't be a WR or HB every single damn year.

Most major problems could be fixed if they used an engine that could apply realistic physics to all elements of the game. 9.8 m/s^2 to LB, WR would eliminate rocket catches and linebacker rocket packs. It would also make height/weight relevant. Collision detection with a force multiplier (F=MA) would give power runners vs agile runners a better feel. Football would travel realistically. Etc,etc, etc.

I totally agree man, but that is a huge change. Hopefully we get that with the next-gen jump, but I doubt that.

Last EA game I bought was 5 years ago, and I've pledged never to buy their shite again until they install something similar to this.

Until people stop throwing $60 at EA every year for a game that's 95% like the one from a year ago, I don't expect to see this change any time soon.

They need to make the whole coaching carousel process more meaningful. Maybe add salaries in the game? Where you can make more based on your prestige level and the schools. (Like you can make more as an offensive coordinator at lsu than head coach at say arkansas state).

Then also change jobs in the middle of a contract. Which would effect your recruting poorly and also youd have to use your money to buy out of current.

Maybe something like that, just anything to make the coaching carousel or changing process bigger.

Program the CPU to call plays based on down and distance rather then what I have 2 RBs rated 93 and 91 in my dynasty. I am a power running team. On first and ten I call an I-Form Tight with 1 WR - it was play action pass. Guess what the CPU called? A fricking cover 3. I mean come on, give me a damn break

LBs that don't jump 50 feet in the air

DL who are better at intercepting passes than anyone in the secondary

Recruiting that isn't a pain in the arse - why does the CPU recruit like shite? I just came off a national championship with LSU and I figured the CPU would do a good job since I just won it - nope I had the 25th ranked class with like 4 4* players.

I'm pretty sure they have gravity involved in the game, just like I'm pretty sure they have force vectors.

The code isn't bad, the problem is its written on a really, really shitty base. I was playing some Madden on my Gamecube the other day, and yes its not very realistic, but my god it was smooth. No rocket catches, no linebackers knocking everything down, a deep ball looked like a real deep ball. Ray Lewis had terrible face on him, but I'm willing to give that up for the base.

CPU play calling Feds needs to be fixed. That shite has been broken for YEARS. They always know what play you picked

insinuating that I demand a perfect product.

I don't expect NCAA to be perfect. I just expect the franchise to fix problems that already plague it, rather than add 7,678,657,654 new celebrations and pregame shite.

You can call offensive plays on defense?

As far as offense, you are correct. But that actually takes away from the realism. I want the coaches to call plays, just call plays that feature the player. . .especially if the player is an AA.

I don't play Witt defensive players in rtg bit I'm sure it works the same play. RTG is just a snippet of the entire game which was a revamped this year, give them a break.

IMO its far from being terrible, and will only get better in 13'

EA sets budgets and time for each portion of the game. Almost positive the order of priority is
1. Gameplay
2. Dynasty
3. Rtg

As far as what your asking for in RTG; it's a valid argument but that would require them to write in a new play call selection algorithm and then have it THOROUGHLY tested. That would either require them to pull allocated time from another area or increase budget. 12's RTG is a lot better the 10,11, and 12's.

Sorry for sloppiness im walking to class and typing on my iPhone

You actually sound like the bitch in here. It's not a terrible game, they changed more from 11 to 12 than the usual cod games do. Instead of bitchinghere, why don't you go tell EA your perfect game so they can make it for you. Or go work for them even.

I will repeat.

What is terrible is the fact that the same problems in 2013, will be the same things I was complaining about in 2008.

I used to defend it, as well. They fix things that aren't broken, and ignore things that fans have complained about for years.

Actually, I'd say the priority is:

1) Graphics

2) Pregame stuff

3) TD celebrations

4) Online gameplay

5) Mascot mash-up

6) Offline Gameplay

7) Minigames

8) Team Creator

9) Cover Art

10) Dynasty Mode

11) Stickers on Packaging

12) Counting your Money

13) Tipping the Waitress

14) RTG

Yeah, sounds like asking them to do their job.

quote:

12's RTG is a lot better the 10,11, and 12's.
It is exactly the same, with a coach's trust feature. That was a clever way to completely avoid fixing the logic.

I felt insulted.

You understand that everything I have brought up, has been brought up to EA for the last 5 years. . .and some much longer than that.

They aren't listening, so I am talking to them with my wallet. It's the only language they seem to understand.

They did what they usually do. Improved shite that wasn't broken, and prettied it up. Nothing is fixed.

You are bitching about my criticism, so there you go.

You have really only stressed two things. The graphics aspect, and RTG. If you don't like RTG, don't play it. Not a hard concept. In this day and age, graphics sell. Of course they are going to prioritize it. This is not the same game that it was 5 years ago. Go play NCAA 10 even, you will see.
