No restriction, if you pick a team that is 99 overall without building them it is frowned upon. Advance 2-3 times a week, there is a mass text message so you will know. You can see who is who on the first page. I can text the commish and get you an invite if interested. Off season starts at 9.

I imagine. No, I'd rather take a shitty team and build them up and rub it in if I happened to beat someone higher ranked.

Sure, if you don't mind, I'll take the invite. I'll make sure I will have the time to commit to it before I accept. If someone else jumps on board before me, no hard feelings.

Don't forget more crowd celebrations and a brand 'new' feature EA will implement that was neglected from the PS2/Xbox days like a spring game or choosing your own impact players.

how does that help online play?

Instituting sliders was just EA's way of saying "here, you guys fix it."

Can't help you for online play. I disagree about sliders. People will enjoy differing levels for their gameplay experience. Some will like an arcade like experience, while others want it to be more realistic. Slider allow this.

quote:

A few blips becomes awful consistent in the red zone, particularly inside the 10.

Must be something you've experienced more than I. Although, I generally try to run in the red zone, sans slants or fades, so you may have more passing experience near the goal line.

quote:

it is my understanding that pocket-passers still plant themselves.

I recently played against a really shitty QB who was a 59 in Speed. He scrambled about 66% of the time when there was nothing open. That is not an exaggeration. When he didn't scrambled, he either threw it away or forced a pass before I could get to him.

quote:

I want gameplay to be realistic.

The gameplay is pretty darn close to realistic if you do the proper adjustments. As with all games, there are going to be glitches and blips. I highly doubt there is a game ever created without at least one.

quote:

Insinuating that the drag of recruiting adds to the realism should have you complaining that there aren't boards and boosters to appease.

Does one not have to accomplish certain contractual goals in the game? Goals which include season and recruiting goals?

quote:

I want realistic gameplay, nobody wants realistic tedium involved in day to day program operation.

You may not enjoy the tedious aspects of the game, but I, along with others, do because that's what happens in REAL football. Recruiting, game planning, player management, practice and training, everything that goes into a week to week preparation to win. If you prefer superficial, pick up and play games, then put your recruiting advisors and just play the games and skip recruiting altogether.

I actually think this would be pretty cool for the 5 stars. of course you couldnt do it for everyone but maybe a few that are close battles in recruiting

It would be a great offline feature, hard to do online. I do wish they would bring back spring practice though.

This is me. I love playing the game, but I hate recruiting - just too time consuming. The problem here is that the CPU is a terrible recruiter. This can't be hard to program in, a 6* LSU program should not have the 25th ranked recruiting class. EA needs to improve CPU recruiting, because it blows.

How about an all star game at the end of the year for the top rated recruits. Similar to the under armor and army all American games. Make it where I can actual play in it.

Also a Senior Bowl for the guys leaving.

SPRING GAME!!! Being able to play this and boost my players stats a bit for doing well in it.

Split it up. Keep the advisors on, but recruit about 10 or so really good guys. Get them and let the computer do the rest.

Bingo.

And nobody will care that nothing was fixed.

Record sales, for the exact same product.

I guess "owned" means "whined at" these days. . .

So they only cared to offer a self-help fix for offline play.

Your guy has to have nobody anywhere near him, or else the "phase-through effect"

is this true for online play? e.g. online dynasties?

quote:

As with all games, there are going to be glitches and blips. I highly doubt there is a game ever created without at least one.

But the same blips, glitches, and bugs showing up year after year?

That is the problem.

The bugs themselves have been there for years. I just got tired of their never being fixed.

quote:

Does one not have to accomplish certain contractual goals in the game?
How many meet/greets, booster rallies, fundraisers does the coach have to attend?

Make completing 5-6 practices a week mandatory, before touting the realism of recruiting.

I don't want mandatory practices, nor do I want 30 mins of tedium before every game.

im not subjecting myself to wading thru this disaster of a thread on your part, again. But for shits and giggles ill refer to your second post. Keep in mind most of us played in an Online dynasty on here for many months... fleur, jae, myself included. So their opinions mean something. Yours? Not so much. There were multiple dynasties on this forum... multiple chances to prove we should listen to your opinion....

quote:

I wish hiring a DC would change your playbook.

pointless fluff. learn to defend and not rely on the cpu

quote:

I wish DB's could play man. I wish LB's couldn't jump 6 feet in the air, intercepting a pass. I wish DL didn't intercept so many passes.

learn how to user defend, user int, and lob and direct and time your passes. Also how to read a defence to not throw into a D Line. Sounds like you mad you bad

quote:

I wish collision detection understands that DB's can't really phase through WR's to intercept passes.

learn how to throw and read a defence

quote:

I wish opposing QB's would tuck and run after a few seconds, if the play breaks down.

this was mentioned by JAE etc as not true.

quote:

I wish the OL blocking was more realistic. . .rarely giving a QB 10 seconds to throw, regardless of competition. Bama can't block Kent state that long on every play.

learn how to pass rush, call a defence, and read gaps/tendencies/formations.

quote:

IOW, I wish for a more realistic football game.

go play football outside?

quote:

Nobody else does, because you keep paying for this shite.

ncaa 12 is great and we have a nice community here of legit users.

Tell me this, throwing into the endzone with the defence compacted, unless they are wide open, is never a good idea in real life. Why should it be easy on the game?

Sounds like you couldnt adapt from NCAA 11 to 12 and are just mad at yourself for not being as good as you want. Then you drop Operation Sports , to try and give yourself some cred, but cred is earned around here, not given.

I could dissect the rest of your meaningless drivel in this thread but whats the point?

NCAA 12 is a huge upgrade over 11. 13 will probably be a huge upgrade over 12.

What does that have to do with a simple appeal for a feature?

You're reaching.

learn how to user defend
I do. Why would you assume that I do not?

Ok. . .I'll leave it at that, because your post is just sniveling. I was pretty damn good at the game, because like you, I had learned to exploit and anticipate the bugs and glitches in the game. I just got tired of the same glitches and bugs.

Put a jacket on, little girl, your ignorance is showing.

I do need to respond to this little nugget of amazing stupidity, though.:

quote:

Please show me one example of a DB phasing through a WR or TE, irl.

I'll wait for the avalanche of video links you will no doubt provide, to show me that this happens realistically.

But I bet I am more likely to hear insults from the less capable minds.
