Rumor is there are two more base roster slots to be announced and one more kameo.
Reiko was in a trailer at one point, so I believe he will fill one of those spots but I guess it's possible he's just in the story.
They haven't announced any characters new to the MK universe yet. Has here ever been a Mortal Kombat released that didn't introduce a new character?
ETA: I mean base roster characters, not guest characters.
ETA2: I found the answer. There were no new characters in the base roster for MK9. I guess story reboots don't get new characters.

Hopefully Megan does a better job with her VA work than Ronda Rousey did. Sonya didn’t even get to make the main roster this time around after that stellar performance in mk 11.

Downloaded MK1 today, it also downloaded the beta for some reason. Can i just delete it? No need for it now right?

I guess so? Not really sure why you would need the demo at this point.
Have gotten 7 tower endings so far. Played a little of invasion mode and it is fun.

This is a definite improvement over MK11. But I’m still having weird sound issues despite the Day 1 patch. And for some reason Raiden’s amulet is purple for me instead of blue

I haven't had any sound issues, but I do get a glitch where the score screen after completing a tower doesn't pop up.
I feel like the fatalities in this one aren't a brutal as they were in the last few games. For some of the characters I feel like the X-Ray moves are more brutal than the fatalities.

I unlocked Johnny Cage's voice as the "announcer" through the Invasions mode, and it is pretty funny. He uses nicknames on the character select screen instead of the fighter name. Once said "toasty" when I did Liu Kang's x-ray move.

I'm on my way to him. I've just been doing "very easy" towers and I think I'll have all but Motaro when I'm done with those towers.
Also mostly completed the first "invasions" stage. Hoping to figure out where the "secret fight" is before moving on from there.
