Anybody recommend any good co op games that you can play using 2 controllers on the same console? I have Xbox.

Ive been playing It takes Two with my son and he is loving it. He is young so it's much easier to play a game with him rather than try to tell him what to do and how to play.

Anybody have any other good co op games to recommend?

If you're enjoying It Takes Two, Split Fiction is the obvious next choice.

I agree that Split Fiction is a fantastic option, although I don't know how young your son is.

He might like Overcooked! All You Can Eat.

Stardew Valley is really good if you like chill, base building, resource management type games.

Overcooked is good for high pressure, stressful management type games

Big fan of For the King if you're looking for a turn based/tactical board game kind of game

Baldurs Gate 3 is good for role playing/turn based combat kind of game

Me and the wife played it takes two and are currently playing split fiction.

Would recommend split fiction. I liked both but split fiction is more my style.

wifey and I got about 2 hours into It Takes Two and it got to the point where I was carrying her. She gave up.

Now she’s back to trying to 100% RDR2. So much so I just bought her a XBOX S and set her up her own account.

it’s been a journey. 1st year we lived together she hated video games. Funny how after some perspective on potential male hobbies she’s come full circle on that.

I've heard River City Girls is solid, but haven't dug down to it in my backlog, despite owning it.

ITT is designed for that. There were parts I heavily carried the person I was playing with. Didn’t make it less fun. There was one part they apologized for how many times they died and I was like “yeah, no, don’t even notice. Immediately got the vibe on this part that I really, really shouldn’t die, so I just focussed on that”

Split Fiction is actually “harder” in that respect. There are sections that really can’t be carried by one person.
