It’s not but it’s also not on Xbox and we’re talking about PS5 vs Xbox numbers here. One of my buddies is an Xbox loyalists that was extremely jelly and contemplated getting a PS5 for this game at the peak of its hype. Also around that time is when Sony got those three Microsoft games too.

I know. I’ve played both and I’m not seeing what these people are claiming is so much better on PS5. The looks and gameplay was just as good or better on Series X than PS5 to me.

We have both in our household and I would prefer to play on the Xbox but my oldest son took over my Xbox account with Destiny 2.

Xbox has better hardware but it's meaningless. Multiplat games generally run better on PS5 because 1. it's easier to develop for and 2. PS5 has way more consoles sold, so they naturally want the market leader to be better optimized. We're talking a few frames difference in most cases though - neither console ever vastly outperforms the other.
Where Xbox is getting into trouble is the forced parity with the shitty Series S. Causes them to get wrecked with games like Baldur's Gate 3 (and soon Wukong) since devs have to delay the xbox release dates. That stupid console has really held back this whole generation
That's not the big deal though - the big deal is that Xbox hasn't had a killer exclusive in like 10 years lol. I can't name one since GOAT 360 days. Yall can talk about a "down year" for Sony all you want but they are leagues ahead in first party studio quality and have been dominating for years

I did celebrate it. I said impressive 320k sold. Just because it’s significantly less when compared to other gaming platforms doesn’t mean it’s not impressive.

This is anecdotal but I bought a PS5 this year. Even though I was an Xbox person for a while. The only reason was bc of the exclusives. The exclusives I bought were games that didn’t come out this year (Spiderman and Ghost of T) but in the end they’re still great games that I can’t play on an Xbox

I have a PS5 and really like my Series X, but it's crazy that Microsoft is going to go into this holiday season with this lineup, while Sony will be selling a PS5 Pro:
