I find it weirdly difficult on hard. Like at times I think I might be dying more than I did in bloodborne. Possibly because I'm playing it like Bloodborne when you should be playing it more like Sekiro (which I've never played).
I was a lot better at parrying in Bloodborne and Dark Souls than I am in this game. Hasn't quite clicked yet.

finally died to a boss on Grandmaster (boss in the tomb on Dathomir). his second phase threw me for a loop with all of the chained unblockables and timing switches. first really good boss imo, rest were jokes
grandmaster is pretty damn easy overall, with some truly random difficulty spikes due to the maxed out enemy aggression. there are points where there are so many enemies bumrushing you and projectile spamming you with unblockable attacks that you just cant go on offense and you just have to dance around and deflect, taking a swing or two every now and then. doesn't seem like these were playtested, very tedious and slow. there have only been 2 or 3 spots like this but man they were rough.

Since the achievements aren't on Steam but on Origin (I haven't really read them on Origin), I assume I lose the achievement for beating it on hardest difficulty (if there even is one) if I change it to the next one below right? I feel like I'm stuck on trying to beat this game on Jedi Grand Master now.

there's a difficulty achievement on Origin? There aren't any on consoles
where are you stuck?

Maybe not then.. I need to look over the achievements. I always assume games with difficulties like these have achievements for beating the game at certain difficulties. I may just lower it to the one below Jedi Grand Master.
I'm stuck on the Kashyyyk rooftop in a scenario you described. Have to kill the two flametroopers, then a security droid with two baton troopers.. then about 6 troopers come with blasters. Then an AT-ST.. I've gotten so close but I raged and quit last night.

that part isn't too bad, it's all about positioning. you want to be right under the dropship when it drops the blaster troopers out, you can wipe them in 2 seconds. make sure you hack the security droid to help with crowd control. use slow against the flamethrower guys and get behind them
AT-ST is like normal. run up to one of his feet and get 2-3 slashes in, he will drop a single bomb. roll to the other foot, get 2-3 slashes in, then roll out while the bombs detonate. you can get it kinda stuck in a loop if you stay close to him throughout the process.
if you get far away from it and he uses ranged attacks: deflect blaster shots, sprint to the side when it launches a rocket, force push the cluster bombs into it. rinse and repeat

My timing has been off trying to force push the rockets it shoots back onto itself. The first time you fight an AT-ST on Zeffo when it's a boss I was able to do it a couple times. I can't get the timing though. It seems it needs to be done right around when the rocket comes out, because when I've tried it while it's flying at me (about halfway to me) it never works.

you can force push the rocket back at it?

The blue bombs just stun you.. I think he has other bombs that actually blow up, and smoke grenades too.

yes, the blue bombs electrocute you for a bit. i dont think he has another type of bomb or smoke grenades, ive killed 6 or 7 so far (you have to fight 2 at once later on) and I've only seen the attacks I've mentioned. key is to stay under and get hits, back out when he drops the bombs on each side, then get back under. you can do it, dont drop difficulty

The rocket troops rockets can be force pushed back as well.

Wait until you fight the big bird monster on Dathomir. Pro tip, attack the wings until you stagger it then force pull its head down.

I got stuck for 30 mins on Dathomir because I couldn’t figure out to use force slow on that section of wall that moves back after you push it. Felt like an idiot after I had to google it to figure it out. I was convinced the game was broken.

Just landed for my second visit to Kashyyyk last night. What am I in for?
Posted on 11/21/19 at 2:13 pm to TheeRealCarolina
The second visit isn't bad. You finally get to fight a real boss, and get another ability.

Well shite, I just realized that I haven’t found any additional stims yet and I am in the “arena” and have no way to get out. Can’t get past the spider and big brute thing. shite.

Oh yeah, I think I had like 6 stims at that point. Those are crucial.

bait the spider into doing the attack where it raises its arms way up and do a perfect parry. instant kill
