This is really the first time the interface has looked like this. Vanguard and previous iterations looked very “Classic CoD”.
No joke, they hired Hulu UI devs for this game. And everyone has complained about it. I bet y’all even haven’t started with the gunsmith tree, yet.

I was thinking about looking into the game, was great at MW2 on 360. OP changed my mind on it. frick it, was hoping it was a remake. I enjoyed the special ops shite and was hoping they'd have an abundance of that kind of shite. Even for dlc

Best thing to do is hover over quick play and hit what ever symbol is there for filter.
On PlayStation it’s square.
You can then filter the quick play playlist to your favorite modes. I do this this and you jump into whatever games randomly you like.
Plus quick play for me is always in the featured list so it’s right there to click on without navigating the menus.

the user interface is whats confusing. Both games are accessible through a combined menu system that in my opinion, is one of the worst in call of duty history.
"Modern warfare 2" is the newest annual call of duty game that has the same game modes as the last 10 cods: campaign and multiplayer. Multiplayer options include team deathmatch, hardpoint, search and destroy, domination etc. Plus some new ones. BUT NOT WARZONE. Warzone is not part of any individual cod game. It is its own game.
"Warzone 2" is a free game that features 1 large map l and several battle royal style game modes. DMZ is one of these game modes. Warzone is tightly integrated with Modern warfare 2. You can level up your guns and unlock new items by playing either game.
The first warzone was released after the launch of Modern warfare 2019. The game lived through 3 call of duty games: Modern Warfare 2019, Cod War 2020, and Vanguard 2022. The guns from these games were all made available on Warzone. Most players will use multiplayer to level up their guns and then use them in warzone where you will get far fewer kills.
Warzone 2 has been released with the launch of Modern warfare 2 and we assume it will also live through several annual call of duty game releases.

nay. the problem with those is you always had that 1 friend who’s broke AF and never buys the map packs. So, when you squad up the squad only got to play the original 10-15 maps.

The base game you pay for allows you to level up weapons for Warzone quickly. Base game is brand new a a small amount of time, I think a couple weeks, when a new warzone update releases

BR has been a blessing and a curse. The blessing is that there is so much more of a rush to it. The curse is that multi got so much more mundane and boring that it’s hard to play like I used to.
I basically use multi to grind guns and camos for warzone. However…. New Warzone is shite at the moment I’m still playing warzone 1. SnD is always fun on multi but there is no hardcore (tier 1 is not the same, finch)
