I'd agree there. I think, at least early on, lean into the counters. Get a stupify on someone, accio them, cast, cast, cast, some other spell, cast, cast, cast.

word to the wise, the really big chests that are guaranteed legendary gear, they are completely random. So, you can save right before opening and just keep loading and opening until you get something you like or a gear slot that is lacking.

How are you guys leveling up so fast? I feel like I have been grinding out classes and side quests and I’m only at level 14

Exploring and completing challenges levels you up super fast. I just spent a ton of time exploring hogwarts, collecting pages, and opening secret chests. Got a ton of XP. I've barely done a single class. I just unlocked expelliarmus

I was under the impression you only get one of these, and only from linking with Wizarding World.
These aren't the default house robes from what I can tell. So if I link my account as a Ravenclaw and choose to play Slytherin I will only have the blue robe pictured above... I assume.
I'd want to be able to pick the green robe above if I picked Slytherin so I'm debating just redoing the quiz but I for sure will lose the elder wand. Actually I Googled how to get the Elder Wand, and I actually do have blue eyes so at least I don't feel like I'm lying on that part.

There are so mahy styles i highly doubt anyone will use actual house garb after a few hours.
You can edit every new piece you get to look like a style already unlocked.

You get whatever of those robe’s house you join I think. I doubt you’ll wear them honestly. You get some good cosmetics pretty early on.

I’ve been enjoying the hell out of it, but I’m a little frustrated about CPU utilization. I’m almost always CPU bound with low CPU utilization in spite of very high graphics settings. Hopefully it’s something they tweak soon.

Im going to focus main quest and teachers extra quests now. I ran into a merlin trial that requires flipindo and don't have it. Also tired of not having alohamora or my beasties. Almost level 21 so i should be fine.

I just came up for air living like a 17 year old no fricks given. Did a full 100% run getting everything there is to possibly get your grubby mits on in the game. I played on hard the whole time. Ravenclaw and specked mostly in core/dark arts/bit of spells. I used the potions OFTEN hard is not a name for the sake of itself I just felt that were more than good enough. The dark arts tree is comical you can absolutely turn anything ti paste if you know what’s up and are good are combat.
Was the preorder worth it and justified? frick yeah dumb bitch if there is arguing I haven’t even read the thread. This is the the single best gamefrom a technical standpoint at launch since they started making consoles. The game is fricking amazing I loved every single miniature detail and there was so many: hogwarts itself is so tucking impressive that someone made that blows my mind:

I’ve heard of such stuff as housr matters more than we were told and you get more or less (with the quality depending as well) on house.
