Man I love this game and I’m not even a huge Potter fan. Finally made it to level 11 and about to start the flying class.

I just did the first trial.
To be honest I don’t really care for the ancient magic areas. The real world is so organic and alive.
Still haven’t unlocked alohamora or any curses but have most the other spells.
Finally got my own broom and did a couple of those challenges. Riding the broom is fun.
Some of the teacher assignments got expensive. I bought some potions and seeds/ingredients that I probably didn’t need and burnt through all my money.
I need to stop deleting all the clothes I find and sell them instead. The eyeball chest give good money though( must be invisible and to open)
I’ve upgraded my stealth and ability to have multiple spell sets. The stealth instant kill is fun.
Found the dark arts arena but didn’t do anything there.
Has anyone with PS deluxe done the bonus quest? Thinks it’s in hogsmead.

I'm not a huge HP fan, read the first book or two back in the early 00s as a teen, have seen some of the movies here and there.
This is seriously one of the best settings for a video game ever. Right up there with RDR2 for best of all time. Diehard HP fans must be in heaven.
Game is incredibly polished and well done.

I’m playing on hard and im ashamed to admit it took me almost an hour to beat Crossing Wands 3. 4v2 isn’t fun when your partner doesn’t do shite.
This game is incredible though, and once you get a hang of the combat it’s a blast.

I have no desire to watch the HP movies but I downloaded last night, created my character, and played for a few minutes (only getting to the cave/ruins).
This makes me jones even more for a legit Westeros RPG. I know there are mods for other games but I want a real GoT RPG that allows you travel all over Westeros, Pentos, and Essos

Haven’t even had the chance to play even though I have it installed and own deluxe. Won’t be able to really give it the proper first time sit down until next week.
Bday today… usual weekend stuff… valentines. All while making sure I grind OW2 and R6S battle passes…
Should I stick with Ravenclaw and Elder Wand from Wizarding World?

Yea i'm really liking the combat. It is just enough mix of button mashing and combo building. It is also really satisfying to finish up a combo and right at the last second get a protego/stupify off on an incoming attack.

So far from what i've seen, the wand specs haven't mattered, but maybe they do down the road. Elder is the way to go regardless. When you have the chance to get elder wood, you always do it.
As for the house, Ravenclaw apparently has the least number of house specific side quests, so if that matters to you, worth taking into consideration.

Agreed. I like the look of the flue map for fast travel, but would also like a full version of the mini map to better see what's around me.
Exactly. The flue map looks great but I want a Hogwarts map similar to Hogsmeade. Oh well, it's a pretty minor complaint in a great game.

”Shitty gamer takes” has become the meme
Wild take. Many of us don’t really give a shite about HP books or movies and saw a game that has a shite ton of potential.

I'm in the same boat. Just doing all these side quests and keep telling myself I'll continue the main story

Posted on 2/9/23 at 10:17 am to SnoopALoop
There is a chance you can progress past side quests. I'm always anal when that is a possibility. I wills search out every side quest I can find before progressing more

I’m trying to work in "48 laws of power" every time I interact with someone. I wanna be the Morgoth to Sauron (Voldemort)

Apparently it's something accessed pretty late in game, and considering I've been piddling around exploring and collecting field guide nonsense it may be out for everyone by the time I get to it

Downloading today. Should I link my Pottermore stuff? Or is that too annoying with being pigeon-holed into a house and getting stuck with the cape?
