Surprised there hasnt been a thread on it since the console release. This shite is brutal but i know back in the old gaming board days we wouldve had a big crew and been drawing out plans on the battle map. The teamwork and communication the game requires will turn off the call of duty crowd but it does make for a completely different type of experience

It's like Squad. The pace of play is mind numbingly slow

I tried it once and just found myself running around not finding any enemies then just dying out of nowhere.

Sounds like a Vietnam War simulator

I played it the other night and this was my experience on the PS5. Stuck with it and ended getting a few kills towards the end of the night which brought me up to lvl 9.

I like it. You have to find a squad that is actually communicating. Ran around with 2 guys last night. Officer, me as support, and an anti tank guy. Me and the officer both had mp40s and the anti tank had a kar98 and a panzershrek. We would flank and frick up the armor n shite. Boom squad got it done

Yep. It changes everything. Ive been a company leader a couple times but it is too much for me to keep up with for now, trying to coordinate supply drops with the commander while they are mapping out battle plans with 10 other company leaders

I’ve been enjoying BF5 lately. A shame it took 2 years to get the game in this smooth state

Hell let lose is different from most shooters in that the enemy doesnt pop out on the map for you. Does battlefield 5 still light up the scopes like bf4?

I enjoy the hell out of bf4 but would consider it an entirely different genre than hell let loose's hardcore realism

I am loving this game right now, but like others mentioned if you do not get in a squad or let alone the entire team that is communicating/building garrisons it can be a turn off. Find a squad that knows what they're doing and fill a roll for them and its fantastic. I'm playing on console and theres definitely a good amount of people that you can tell never played a realism game or expecting it to be like CoD.

I have it on PC. Definitely similar to Squad in terms of pace.

I also have Post Scriptum which is straight up the same game.

I've had good fun with it. Definitely a game that requires good comms though.
