Really, its only aged well if you were an RPG player. The PSX was an incredible console for RPGs. If you weren't into that, then the PSX has probably aged worse than any other successful console. No one in college carries their Playstation or its games with them. People are itching to play Goldeneye, Smash Bros, and Mariokart though.

psx had amazing games for every category, not just RPGs

N64 had the best multiplayer games which is why people bring it to college to play smash bros, mario kart/party, etc

N64 is one of the worst. Trying to go back to that controller is horrible, and outside of maybe 3 games I have no real desire to. I loved it at the time, but it has run its course for me.

If you want consoles that have aged well try the SNES or PSX.

Playing n64 games on a pc with a 360 controller feels quite awesome though.

Emulators are great. I just hate the unconventional saving methods for games.

Lots of games on that list below 80 absolutely should not be, but the fact that game is total bullshite.

Did you look at the PS1 games that were below 80%?!

Persona
Elemental Gearbolt
Quake 2
Brave Fencer Musashi
Bushido Blade 2
Jumping Flash 2
Tomb Raider
Croc
Jet Moto
Wild Arms
Bloody Roar 1 and 2
Star Ocean 2 (!)
Tales of Destiny 1 and 2
Tenchu
Parasite Eve 1 and 2 (still one shocked me too)
Guilty Gear
Legend of Dragoon
Megaman Legends 2
Thousand Arms
Ogre Battle
Threads of Fate
Ehrgeiz
Vandal Hearts 1 and 2
Armored Core
Legend of Legaia
Legend of Mana
Saga Frontier 1 and 2

I could go on, but these are just the ones that from 75%-80% that all good games.

Which one and which version?

They've remade 1 and 2 for PSP and they're fantastic remakes. 3 and 4 were originally done on PS2 but received portable versions/remakes as well (p3 on PSP and P4 on Vita).

The series is fantastic though.

I play all the way through Mario 64 at least once a year.

Within the 2 years I have played through Zelda 64 games, Mario 64 3x, Mario Kart is a constant (maybe the best multiplayer game ever)

I agree.

I've played the remake on PSP. They redid the graphics and music with some other changes.

While its pretty aged graphically, the game play is still good.
