It is intriguing reading all of this. I want to play H5, but I have no interest in multiplayer anymore. This doesn't look any better than Reach or 4 to me. However, I will always want to follow the campaigns.
More lore = awesome, in my eyes.
For the record, H2 will forever be my favorite game. Oh how I miss those days, it was so addicting. I miss you jerksnipe, super jumps, bxr, and sticky grenade mechanics.

I was on a sponsored team for H3 and played on 6-8. Depending on the controller. My BR was average for that level of competition, but I had over 16,000 sticks in H3.

Swat playlist is totally fricked.
On Halo Waypoint my ranks and recs are still there, but after I got Onyx in Swat, I turned my xbone off to take a break, and came back to everything being reset.
So I guess it's back to the 4v4 H1 playlist on MCC...

I got pissed at that Cobain account. I had a 78-0 winning streak in team doubles when I started it. But only leveled up to 26. Weirdest crap I've ever seen with the ranking system. Never reached 50 on it because of that.
My gt in H2 was Heinous Act. I only ever reached 38. But anyone who seriously played it knows getting higher than that was almost impossible without bridging host so you could boot modders, and to protect yourself from getting booted by other bridgers.

Heinous Act fwiw Can't tell much from an H2 record. My k/d wasn't great, mainly because I always tried to stick people. That sometimes required a suicide mission...

Multiplayer seems too arcady 5 matches in. Adding that B button burst is so beyond poor.
Seems better than 4 but I can't imagine this will have a very long shelf life.

I'm taken aback about how you said you were competing in H3, and you didn't know anyone who played on a look sensitivity less than a 6...
Literally every H3 professional that is worth mentioning used 3-4, with MAYBE one oddball 5.
Understand that the greatest Halo player ever, Ogre 2 (this is not debatable), used 4 sensitivity while he was wrecking the world with the rest of Final Boss in H3.

The sensitivity thing is just my experience. I normally played higher than anyone else though, for the record.
I will admit that I never actually made it to a tourney. Most of the tourneys that year were scheduled for when my work was the busiest. 75% of my income for the year came from May to July. We did scrimmage with several teams though. Was at least able to do that.
And yes, 16,000 ish. Give or take 500. I didn't believe it myself when I added it up. Just can't remember the exact number.

Eh....probably.

Alright, finished campaign last night. It was fun, but way way way too short. They basically gave you half a campaign, build up this great climax point, and roll credits
Of course they are setting up either DLC or the next game, but frick them. Make a complete campaign.
Enjoyed the few pvp games I did. Realized the 10 game thing only applied to arena and not warzone like 4 games in, so sorry teams that I did not help Does anyone know if that will ever reset or re-evaluate, or is it pretty much stuck where you get ranked?

With the ability to revive it makes Halo 5 on legendary pretty easy. But I have beaten all the Halo's on legendary so maybe that's just me.

We did Heroic. It wasn't terrible. The enemies are definitely pretty good shots, especially the snipers. We were dying a good bit. It does feel like you have less health in this game, though that is probably because of the revive.
I'm on the fence whether I like the revive or not. I don't feel like it really ruined anything, because the revive takes long enough that you can very easily get killed trying to revive people.
