So somehow people have gotten their hands on physical disc copies early (this has happened often why are publishers so fricking useless) and some leaks have emerged. Nothing too serious or game breaking but apparently Jill and Clive will be a couple in the adult timeline. I hopped they would refrain from this and just have her serve as his moral center with romantic tension

Again, them being a couple in the adult timeline seriously stretches the bounds of a fricking spoiler. Almost all fans expect it and It’s HEAVILY implied not just in trailers but in the demo itself with the romantic tension. I simply said some leaks from people who could be lying but it’s been know to be a problem with physical disc going out early in the past have said this is the case. Get over yourself

I pre-ordered the deluxe from Best Buy so mine won’t be in until tomorrow some time. I haven’t even finished the demo yet though so I’ll be behind everybody, works been brutal

I pre-ordered the FFXVI PS5 bundle. Should arrive tomorrow afternoon. Will have to get the PS5 set up and updated first so I can install a 2 TB drive. I went with the WD Black SN850X and plan to run all games from that. Will hopefully be able to start playing the game tomorrow night.

I waited until last night to play the demo. Really liked it and pre-ordered today over PSN. I wanted to grab a physical copy but it would have come on Monday so that's why I pulled the trigger on digital.

Got it pre ordered but I'm probably going to wait until the weekend before jumping into it. Luckily I have all next week off so I'll have plenty of time to sink into it.

Holy shite i just got to the point where you battle garuda shown in the trailers and clive awakens as ifrit. I am like level 19. This game is a masterpiece so far.
The active time lore system is actually a stroke of genius and updateas with every new detail big or small even mid cutscene.
For anyone wondering what the locked skills where at the bottom of icon trees not shown in the demo they are the "ultimates" youve seen in the trailers. Phoenix for example is cslled flames of rebirth I wont give the details on what it does but these cost an insane amount of points to unlock this one is 1695. So far I only have phoenix and garuda so I was correct the demo gave us more than you would have during the castle part. I assume zanzuken and megaflare will cost a small fortune eventually
