Fallout 76 thoughts...

Ive been playing the series from 3 on. Definitely my fav franchise. So going into 76 I knew it was drastically different. I really like some stuff and hate some stuff. There are alot of stuff I need to figure out still and thought this might be a good place to post helpful stuff and thoughts as well.
My main complaint is not being able to hot key certain items. I mean stimpacks are up on the D pad and down is the gay arse emotes. Seems like the emotes should have been in the options tab as they are far less useful and being able to put certain weapons/meds in the up left right down d pad would make everything much more smooth.
I had my first run in with a douchebag that was over 10 levels higher than me constantly meleeing me something and I could not seem to run away (my stimpacks were low and I really didnt want to frick with anyone) but he would not stop so I was killed because i couldnt get away. I thought there was something in place for this but i could not find it.
It is an extremely interesting take considering that iguana and squirrel on a stick were practically useless but now Im like frick yea some food, so that is kinda neat. I also am shocked at how much you really have to eat and drink and frick SOME DAMN DISEASES.
Camp so far seems like a hassle and should have been laid out better and frick BEING OVERENCUMBERED IN THE arse.

frick i left that out lol. I really like that multiplayer aspect of it with multiple people online. Its awesome to hear a firefight going on right down the road so to speak and if i had some ppl to co-op with i can see how it would be amazing because it does make it easier. I like the events that pop up even if they are the same ones but so far the ones ive done i wish the rewards were better. Story does seem kinda weird so far but im not far in so hoping it comes around. Where can i sell some of these plans i have?

I love that fresh new game feeling it gives.
I hate when it wears off after a few nights.

Sadly, it was a money grab by bethesda.
I played the shite out of it in beta, and the number of bugs is laughable, no modders to save the game. Majority of bugs are still in the game, i won a code from one of the streamers, so i have played the finished product.
My favorite is the dealio you hit to pick your target on person/creature. Your gun can be pointing to the left and you one shot something on the far right of the screen.
Some really cool, fallout story lines, but they made it so step and fetch, because the game lacks content. It shouldn't take you 8 quests to do one thing/item.
Since i do not like keyboard and mouse, i'm limited on games on pc, so i was really looking forward to hoarding and building and trying to fortify and having my base security kill things. But i got bored.
I traveled to 90% of map, and really like the lore, but man, the game is broke, and the graphics are not good. The shadow effect is asinine, and should of been fixed before betas were done.
I didn't find one of the OP guns or weapons and was still killing level 20+ creatures at level 4-5, with ease. I also never use the system where it locks in, i shoot from hip or the sights, so that's even more shitty.
AI for creatures, especially the scorched is bad. And the mothman getting stuck on a rock, and me killing him as he stood there was really sucky. Also, food and meat go stale in minutes, the weight is 2 low, and the scrapping should be a lot more easier and not be a drag on fps.
When you get into playing the game you will have fun for hours, then feel like something is missing, then go back, have fun, etc. But this game was not ready, and 20 people per map is 2 low, should be 30, especially on pvp servers.
They should of waited for pvp, and kept it pve, and let the modders fix the game, then bring in pvp on their servers, with no gun, weapon, etc mods being used to make people OP. Only graphic and such mods allowed.
One guy compared the graphics to a ps2 game, lol.
The caverns and the lore they created could of been one hell of a quest, but man, it was lame, just mole people. They laid out the perfect scenario and failed.
Once modders get a hold of this, it will more than likely be a buy, they will fix the lame quests, the long, boring quests, and fix the broken quests. but till then i do not recommend anyone paying $60. Should of been a $25-$30 game tops.

Really fricked up thing, is that i cannot play this game on my xbox account, it keeps telling me i do not have a paid game.
So i had to create a new account and use the code i received and it worked.
Are we locked to the first code you used?(amazon cancelled my preorder for no reason), I was able to play all betas and had codes for them, but the code from streamer would not work. I had to create an account just for it, and it worked.

I like it, it’s fun. It’s a huge map filled with lots of shite to do. With that said, the stash limit sucks.

I hate vats right now but maybe with more perks cards it will get better. Right now my best way is sneaking and taking out as many as i can at 2x damage. I agree that there should be more ppl on a map and more incentive to play together.
I honestly feel like this is a crafting game with a fallout skin. Weights on EVERY MOTHER frickING THING IS RETARDED.

Honestly melee is where it’s at. It’ll take 10-15 shots out of a gun to kill things or 1-2 whacks with a good barbwire bat

Ive found that out especially with those damn liberators bots, mole rats, and little stuff like that. I always have a melee weapon on favorite

I'm enjoying my time...a little bit of fallout with a little bit of destiny public events with a little bit of the division darkzone. I don't get all the negative reviews. I think people just want something to Btch about. Dare I say I'm having a better time on fallout 76 than the overyhype snoozefest of Red Dead 2

Gamespot gives it a 4.3/10.
frick Bethesda for not giving us a real Fallout sequel.
