They need to release the originals from back in the late 90s.

New Vegas. On Steam, I have 919 hours in game.

Fallout 4, I've played it for 883 hours.

Fallout 3 is at 80ish hours.

New Vegas is the best though. Better story, setting, factions, choices, characters, etc.

Yeah. Fallout 2 is by far the best of all of them, but it's of course very dated.

As far as the OP goes, as most everyone has already said:

New Vegas>F3>F4.

F4 is entertaining enough for what it is, but it has a crap story/plot and isn't much of a Fallout game.

New Vegas, but Fallout 2 is the best game in the series.

maybe I just never played far enough, but I found NV and 3 to be much more captivating than 4, even with the added features.

Haven’t played all of them but I must say the most fun and hooked that I’ve been was with Fallout 3.

Old School folks will say 2. Some will say New Vegas.

I tend to like base building so that aspect hooked me on 4 with the help of a few mods.

I definitely spent more time with 4 but I thought the story sucked. All of the factions were dicks in some way. Wanted them all dead and I wanted to rule the land with my hoard of minutemen.

Overall fun, I still like 4 the most. I really didn't like the ending to 3 but the story was better.

Never played the first 2.

I’m sure it will shock you to know that New Vegas has been sitting in my steam backlog for over 2 years. Maybe 3. 2 hours played so far

I'm trying to get back into 4 using mods. The game is so slow paced and bland, it gets boring. Mods make it a lot more interesting.

I wish they would remake New Vegas with all of the graphical and game play improvements from 4.

Didn't we both suffer from the Fallout 3 hump problem?

I fired up 4 last night. I need to finish up Far Harbor but one of the main quests bugged out on me last night and I went back to BF4 until bed. Nuka Cola World DLC is waiting as well.

Once I made it out of the vault It was smooth sailing. Not that it was difficult. Just that it took me probably 5 attempts to give it a fair shot lol

New Vegas is my favorite. Took what 3 did and just expanded on it. Not as "deep" of a story as 3 but fun as hell regardless.

4 is growing on me though.

We had the exact same experience. When I finally made it to megaton and started chatting with everyone, it was over.
