Do you enjoy gaming?

I just turned 32 in May. Not sure if it is an old person thing but gaming is just not enjoyable.

Lately gaming is just not fun. I enjoy talking about games, learning about hardware, discussing lore, dissecting stories over actually playing the game.

Is this a me problem or part of becoming old?

I'm about to turn 30 and I still enjoy it most of the time. I find that I'd rather play online with friends since I can't hang out with them in person like I'd like to. I think once I move back to Lafayette, my gaming will decrease significantly and I'm sure the wife will be happy about that.

If they still made NCAA, I'd probably play the shite out of it all the time regardless of my age.

Gaming really hasn't come around on the gay culture as much as that picture tells me you might hope, but give it a few years and it might be more your style later after it catches up with the times.

She is a Nolan's Last Bullet granddaughter from BeeLine Kenels. If you got into pedigrees.

But back to gaming. Anyone here post 30 and find that your engagement with the media is different? Like I said, enjoyment comes from Wikis about games than actually playing.

Crazy.

I have kind of reached that point. It is almost to the point that I boot games up just out of years of habit. I then mindless play with no real satisfaction.

I have been trying to get back into MMO's or singleplayer games that have just been sitting around collecting dust in hopes that somethings sticks and that maybe a story or some sort of progression will give me some satisfaction.

It maybe just that life has other plans and it is time to be a little more productive in other areas.

28 in a week and still enjoy it.

I haven’t turned my console on in 2-3 weeks but I’m still playing Football Manager a lot on Steam. Passed the 900 hour mark the other day.

I'm in my early 30s and my gaming love has changed. I really can only play online against other users. I can't play single player offline games. It's just boring now.

I enjoy it. But it's just as much about sharing multiplayer experiences as single player games. I try to balance both.

I look at them as a way to burn time, activate my imagination, get myself out of the real world for a little bit, and see a lot of games as a playable movie experience

So yea, enjoyable for those reasons. But can grow tired of them quick when I think about all the more productive stuff I could be doing.

I'm 39 and have been playing games longer than most of you have been alive. I will die with a controller in my hand. That's actually kinda sad but I don't care.

I don't play near th hours I used to, I attribute that to the lack of single player only games. I can only play online so long before I get bored.
