Cyberpunk 2077 - Finally bought it

I never buy stuff on release, cause I'm cheap, and have low expectations.
CP2077, today, is well worth the $21? it costs. It is one of the best RPGs I've ever played. I don't like interstitials, and clicked through the Witcher (all of them), Fallout, Skyrim, etc., but I actually spent far, far too much time paying attention to the story of 2077 than I should have. I'm impressed for 30 bucks.
If there was ever a release that was worth full price, this is one. The "puzzles" are a combo of Arkham and other methods, but not the dumb shite you find in ISO RPGS.

It's a fun game, but the absolute depravity in the storyline got to me after a while. Stopped playing after this one quest line with a dude who thinks he's Jesus.

Should've waited for the massive update coming in Sept. They're reinventing the entire game

In my opinion, deserves being mentioned among the best side quests in the history of gaming. All the better that you miss out on it entirely if you’re a murder hobo.

I bought them both at the same time on GOG.
After watching the Starfield gameplay video (about 45m) last night, I went full tard on games, and this was one.

It was well done, no doubt, but it was too much for me.

I can’t speak for its initial release but cyberpunk post ps5 upgrade was dope. Really enjoyed it and looking forward to the expansion.

I played about an hour on initial release, took a long break, picked it up two months ago and was convinced to wait until the expansion. I'm looking forward to it.

I played through and beat it twice, once at launch (it crashed every few hours, but otherwise played fine) and again when the PS5 update came out. I enjoyed it.

Came here to post this. For me, it was practically every hour like clockwork.
I have dabbled in it since the PS5 update, but I haven't spent any significant amount of time in it since beating it at launch. I look forward to checking it out again once the expansion is released.
I wish it was more Deus Ex and less GTA/Borderlands, but it was still a fun game.

I got it for cheap after the PS5 update, and dabbled in it for a couple of hours. Not going to lie...I tried creating the hottest female character I could in preparation for some steamy shite later in the game but I then moved on to something else lol.
I'll probably restart, create a legit character, and give it my full attention...maybe after I finish up FF16 (just beat Ultima...not sure if I'll run into him again or what but I've beaten him once) and then get back into Zelda and finish that up (I stopped playing while I was dicking around with a bunch of side quests trying to delay the ending)

Picked it up a few months ago. Played it for a few hours then moved on. Didn't grab me at all.

I thought about it, can even get the ps4 disc prob cheap and comes with the upgrade.
But yeah they are releasing phantom liberty in September so im just going to wait and buy the whole game then.

New to the genre, huh?

Nah, this game goes out of its way to bring nearly every questline to the basest, most disgusting place possible. It's not typical.

I think you had bad luck. Cyberpunk as a genre tends to be dark and dirty, and some quests absolutely are, but I recall it being a minority.

Maybe. I just went around doing everything I came across.

Sandevistan build with a katana is so satisfying.

I bought it for like $20 a few months ago. It was well worth it. Ended up beating it.
I plan on replaying it after the Phantom update comes out and I'm going with this build. I could tell that this would be a cool build.
Also next time I play through it I'm going with the hardest level of play. Around the middle of the game I got so leveled up that it became a little too easy.

One of my all time favorites. Launch destroyed its reputation but after the PS5 proper next gen update came out, it cleared up all the performance issues. I played it on the PS4 first and yes it did crash’s every few hours. After I moved to PS5, it was all good and improved from there.
I’m stoked about the new expansion coming
