Lunes best combo by far is building up to elemental genesis it is BY FAR her most devastating attack

If you have extremely high crit this can be set up in one turn using elemental trick

Yes. I'm now currently in Act III. This shite is wild.

I made myself turn it off. I have work at 8.

Im starting to see a few people call this game "woke"

Look, lemme preface this by saying I fricking hate progressive politics and the general wokification of games. I also hate the term grifter for how often it is used now.

But these people are clearly grifters who havent even played the game. One guy called sciel and lune lesbians together when you can romance them and one even had a husband who died. There is literally not a single progressive message in this game.

It's pretty ironic. Quite a few streamers made their entire online reputation on hating "woke" in video games. Now, as games start to pivot away from that (and hopefully continue to do so), they're finding that their viewership numbers depended on that very same "woke" that they claimed to hate. So if they can't find it, they have to create it.

Really? I can't imagine taking the stance that this game is "woke."

There are definitely a couple gay/lesbian couples at the beginning of the game before the gommage, but I only noticed because I literally went around and talked to everyone. If you're a normal person who I imagine skips these clearly "set piece" NPCs, you probably wouldn't notice.

Made me a tad skeptical about what might be coming later, but that was the end of anything that could even remotely be considered woke imo.

Yeah anyone calling this game woke very obviously haven't played a single minute of it.

frick em, this game is amazing across the board and the most fun I've had on console since FFVII and Ghost of Tsushima

I've never been into turn based RPGs.

How easy would it be to play this for someone like me?

I remember some claiming woke at the reveal just because of all the chicks.

I love how nobody actually gives a frick. You see most gamers never gave a frick about women having major roles in video games etc. There is a decent list of amazing lead female roles in games. It’s not the problem.

It when it’s forced ideologies. It always has been and always will be.

Like the TLoU2. So you want Elle to be lesbian….okay…no problem. I can see that. She’s a tomboy in the apocalypse and her options are limited. Hell, if I were in her situation, I wouldn’t be looking to suck dick but I’d probably have to be willing to lower my standards if I wanted some vag.

The problem was that it all felt forced and they made some real questionable decisions.

Same for Aloy. She was awesome in the first Horizon. Then I start to play the second one and right off the rip I’m introduced to her lesbianess. It felt so unnatural and forced. So unnecessary to the story and what is going on in that world.

I donno. I could keep rambling. I just keep waiting for the shift back to normal in gaming. I’m really hoping games like E33 and BG3 and the likes really make the industry as a whole ask themselves….”what do gamers really want?”

Easy. Been seeing a lot of reviews of people with no interest ever in Turn based and are absolutely in love with the game. It’s different and it’s worth a shot imo

Incredibly easy.

There are difficulty levels you can adjust at anytime during the story.

My buddy said he found a good farming spot in Monoco station. He Grinded to level 58 pretty quick still early in act 2

Expeditioners, a quick note on Stendhal and balance changes:

We hadn’t planned to make any balance changes this early—just bug fixes, unless something clearly stood out.

Well, Stendhal did.

It was underwhelming for most of development, so in our final pre-release balance pass, we gave it a big damage boost—and clearly overdid it. It ended up overshadowing most other options.

We still want you to be able to break the game—and you absolutely still can—but Stendhal was making it a bit too easy.

You’ve got one more day to enjoy it in its current form and set some wild records. The adjustment will be included in our first full hotfix set, going live tomorrow. The patch will roll out on Steam first, and other platforms will follow.

After the change, it’ll still be a strong single-hit skill with great synergy potential... just more in line with everything else.

Monnoco is really the best support character imo.

He is the only character that can apply the powerless debuff naturally.

Sciel is the easily the best support character because of Fortune's Fury. Not to mention having Intervention. She should be in every team once unlocked.
Powerless is a pretty useless debuff unless for some reason you are taking multiple turns to kill enemies. 20% dmg reduction is meh, especially in a game when you can dodge/parry anything.
Using Monnoco as a marker is a better use of his support skills. But I rather Verso for that role.

I am being a bit critical here but you said "best"

Edit: I broke this down in a previous post but it is pretty simple to see why
Sciel gives you 2x dmg
A Marker gives you another 2x dmg
Maelle Medalum another 2x dmg

It is possible to get damage in the billions with this.

Interesting. I doubt it changes things too much. If it does just plug in the next best single target dmg skill.

I have to say, and repeat what has been said many times in this thread, the writing and characters in this game are fricking phenomenal.

I WANT to spend time with each character in camp.

If this game doesn’t win GOTY, I don’t understand gaming awards.
