I could tell she was watching me pretty intensely last night when fighting sprog for hours.
She boots up her copy and I’m organizing some socks and I can hear the counters happening in the other room. I’m like wait….walk to the living room…and she’s fighting an optional side boss and nailing it.
Pretty proud moment.

I can see not upgrading weapons and just replacing them as you loot to try others. But no lumina is wild. I guess if you enjoy more of a challenge, have at it.
I actually imagine many people don't even know what lumina is. It is kind of hidden in the menu and tons of people ignore tutorials.

No reason not to do them. Not only do you get more story and combat moves. You actually get 3 side missions. And 1 is huge and pretty important to the story.

I was saving it because I wanted to get all party members first before I started allocating. Didn’t want to give someone a ton and then get a new member that is way better. I think Monoco is the last one so I’m gonna start using

If I have ONE thing to complain about with this game, it’s that the menu UI/UX are terrible. The picto and lumina menus are something else. They need to add loadouts too, like if I wanted to build a solo loadout for characters in 1v1 fights and whatnot. A lot of times I don’t even swap luminas over bc I just don’t feel like it

Make use of the favorite feature, tag your good luminas, pictos, weapons and use sort. It helps some.

I just sort alphabetically. Only sorting option I wish I had was to sort between types of attacks, like sort by agile, balanced, etc for Monoco or sort by rank for Verso.

I completed the optional story dungeons. Sitting at around level 92. Pretty sure I'm overleveled for the final boss fight but I guess that's fine. Only 3 achievements left for 100%.

PS5 is reporting about 42% completion in act 2 for me. I’lm headed toward the “old place”.
Really have just been making sure I beat all the world bosses up to this point. Tried one of those Danger areas and got fricked pretty good but figure those will be better suited once my limit cap is broke. Which I feel will likely be soon.

The red portals that say danger will become white if you come back later and are in the suggested level range. It will also drop the danger warning

The final boss of the main story is level 50.
I 100% the game before I fought him though and was like lvl 96 lol.
The highest level boss in the game is a hidden superboss that is level 99
New game plus does add new things like pictos weapons abilities and I think even an even higher level boss at like level 150 or something

If you mean the damage cap you will get that in the form of a picto. It isn’t dropped until the games penultimate boss, which the entire end game opens up after. You still have the main story final boss to go after it though.
If you’re heading to old lumiere you’re still a fair bit off from it

You can romance one of the two ladies. But not both if you want Lune you need to turn down sciel since she is first
