What he really means is you might as well go ahead and call Bubba because the CPU defense is going to prison rape your offense on heisman level.

I hate buying physical discs anymore but I forced myself to buy the physical disc this year solely because of Kewan Lacy being on the cover. I owed it to my younger self who was IRATE that they put Larry Fitzgerald on the cover of 2005 instead of Eli

Passing is fun because defenses actually play zone correctly. Theres gonna be a bunch of people realizing how mentally hard playing qb is

Or you can just install and play the 10-hr free trial of CFB 27 off of gamepass now and see if it is worth it to you when the game officially releases on the 9th.

And small hopefully fixable gripe is hordes of missing freshman.

Yes I noticed this too immediately when I played with LSU. 3 of our big time freshmen recruits on the Dline are not in the game. Only Lamar Brown is on it and he’s not even wearing the correct jersey number. Richard Anderson, Deuce Gerald’s nor Trenton Henderson is listed on LSUs depth chart. Kind of annoying because Anderson and Gerald’s will most likely start as freshmen because they are that good.

It's wild that any teenager wouldn't want to see themselves in a major video game.

Especially when they get some money for it from EA but there were some last year that didn't complete the form for it correctly. But mostly they weren't added due to not sending their paperwork out to EA in time (Recruits that showed up on campus late) Many were added through updates as the year went on as they finally sent it out.

Yea feel like they added a lot throughout the year. The new staring menu is kinda retarded with it being flat like, why spend any time doing that shite.

Also not a huge fan of the changes to the controls

Another thing I just noticed, for some reason they have a ton of uniform options for LSU but they don’t have the TN night time ones, which I swear they had in the last version. I would have thought they would at least start with the same uniforms and just add ones missing

Less breakaway? I rarely ever beat the CPU over the top as it was.

I don’t play online.

This happened last year, early before the first update the cpu basically was always in some sort of deep zone or cover 2 with the defenders off the WRs. It looks pretty much the same this year the D is going to let you throw under all day and run wild.

Noticed this as well in the few games I played last night. I don't think I had one deep route get open in a couple games. Running and underneath passing was working like a charm though. They definitely fixed some of the cheese routes for sure and the veer & shoot formations don't seem to be causing as many issues as before, which is a good change. Comeback routes on the near side are money right now.

Still noticed some wtf moments for my secondary where guys would be just nonsensically open with guys actively running away from them and if playing a good team, QB is just going to complete 90% + with no bad throws even with pressure, either I make a play on the ball or it is complete, so some slider tweaks will definitely be necessary again. Some of that will probably improve with getting the pre-snap down a bit more, but CPU QB accuracy always seems to just be absurd early on.

After watching a few videos I don’t hate the change anymore now that I see how much they added. I do like the new in-depth additions they made to zone but I can see why someone that just wants to play wouldn’t like them.

Yea I would expect some bigger improvements on updates that will come.

Drags and slants have worked well as well as passing to backs. The run game I’ve busted a few big runs with LSU and NDSU.

I am going to probably start a dynasty today just trying to figure out if I want to go straight to NDSU for their dome or start the first one with a more middle of the road team. I’m curious if the ai will adapt as it appeared to do in the last version where one season I had go to routes that were always open and then the next it would be shut down. I had a season where I hit very few deep balls but worked the flats and then the next it was an inverse they cover the flats and I just went up top.

For sure. I will say the updated player models and animations looked quite good. Had a goalline stand in a game where CPU threw a swing pass out to a RB on 4th and 1, and a CB fight off a block and a LB run out as well. RB did a leap animation to try and get over my CB and the LB jacked him up, spinning im in a 360 but keeping him out of the endzone. Was pretty awesome

Lot of the open field tackling animations and stuff look much more natural now.

I saw a video saying by year 10 like half the teams had walk ons or more and the 4 stars just were going unsigned.

Typical EA to release a game that is a mess.

I will say I do like the more dynamic commentating and having real coaches. I played LSU at ole miss and they were talking about lane and the ole Miss fans

I respect Bordeaux a lot for this. If it’s anyone EA will listen to, it will be him since he has the platform to make noise
