I just started a dynasty with LSU. Figure might as well play a season and learn stuff while they fix it.

My first impression of it is the recruiting is way more in depth with nil now and hiring staff is interesting.

I can see a lot of customization in dynasty where you could focus resources on developing players and spend less nil or go less development and heavy nil.

I like this new deeper dynasty. From the first looks it looks like a lot of paths to take

Passing is tougher. WRs against good corners will drop more passes. I hope that isn't their answer for the awful pass coverage logic last year.

Shedding blocks is harder. Speed needs to be looked at as I can't seem to out run players significantly slower than Durham.

Dynasty is different. I'm not sold on the program builder and NIL yet. I'll update after I make it though the off-season.

Game is beautiful on PC at 100fps+/- 20

Speed is perfect. Haven't seen that issue much..maybe fatigue was a factor? I love how the truly fast players really stand out this year. Block shedding is slightly harder this year as it should be but it's still too easy to block shed with an elite defensive lineman.

I kinda forgot when it was being released, saw this thread days later and then bought it Sunday and had early access Monday. You could play the free trail version

Passing is starting much like last year, the computer isn’t playing a lot of man to man and they are keeping safeties deep and corners way off the line.

The bubble screens to WRs are lethal right now. The drops have happened but the last few games I’ve been much better on getting my WRs to come down with the ball.

The rpo with the tight end coming across the formation is broken right now as every time the end forces him too far and you can’t make a pass to him.

After a few games I’ve caught the computer a couple of times on deep balls, the most successful was actually using Auburn and being able to hit some deep throws and even a fade in the corner.

I also played a game with South Carolina and punished Kentucky over and over with the shotgun quad formation and Harbor on the other side. If I had numbers on the screen I was throwing that, once they finally put 4 guys over there I would run or wait long enough for the other db to crash in and then hit Harbor before the safety could get to him.

Overall the game has a lot of positives, it’s harder to get off blocks but the D is still getting a lot of pressure. The LSU secondary locks people down but with Carolina people would be wide open.

I like the new pursuit and the open field plays look a lot better. Running looks a lot like last year where if you wait for a hole and then burst you will bust a big gain but if you try to sprint too soon you are going to end up stuffed.

I’ve broken multiple 70 plus yard TD runs with Durham. I was able to take it 78 yards to score a TD with no time left in the half while they were in prevent.

Also had a big 60 plus yard break away run with Berry.

The computer likes to make the game end early when you are up big. Clemson spent the entire fourth running accelerated clock while down 37

Durham is busted again in this game. Hilarious as honestly he has put on weight and lost a step or two since his freshman year.

Berry & Durham in this game is unfair.

I just broke a second 70 plus yard run for a TD with Durham vs the prevent lol

Also Lamar Brown is an animal in our wildcat.

Once again the damn play style is broken in dynasty. You would think after this happened last year they would fix it. I just got locked out of 4 recruits because play style is plummeting despite the fact it shouldn’t be

There is a slider, can't remember the exact name, but essential is a speed normalizer. If you lower the number from the default 50, there will be a bigger gap between players with high speed and low speed.

I respect Bordeaux a lot for this. If it’s anyone EA will listen to, it will be him since he has the platform to make noise

The biggest issue isn't even the microtransactions

Its removing features and replacing them with the microtransactions.

You cant remove faster coach XP and just tell people that its part of the grind (they actually really said this)

"Players can reach the max coaching level in 25-30 season dynastys"

Who the frick is playing 25-30 seasons?

I saw someone post a stat that in order to get your coach to level 100, you'd have to win/complete 150 playoff scenarios

Looks like there will be a patch tomorrow for some hot fixes as well as an apparent memo release that may address some of the issues the community has brought up. Won't hold my breath though.

Doubt it, EA is dumb. The released a statement on the XP gains earlier and were basically like actually, we increased the xp gains from last year's game for all activities, thinking everyone is stupid and would take them on their word. It took all of 10 minutes for the community to do the math to see that the XP needed to increase a level went up by more than the gain increase

There is a pancake bug right now when the offense is in heavy sets, I think Ace especially. Even if you match personel properly, your DL will still just get run over.

I was waiting till after the World Cup to buy this game, but will hold off with the micro transactions and dynasty mode. That’s absolutely horrible.

I was excited to get into the new Dynasty mode, but… no

It’s crazy how the gaming industry just releases shite they worked on all year and it’s full of bugs.

Even crazier is EA had some of these same problems last year. I’d expect you would test that those problems don’t happen again.

They also appear to have made every punter an absolute beast of a punter. A&Ms punter is punting it 60 - 80 yards.

They did a good job on a lot of the game though.

I just don’t want to start my long term dynasty until they fix the grades so they aren’t going in reverse. Through 4 weeks I’ve noticed there are a bunch of players I’m recruiting that I’m the only offer, so I can see how the long term dynasty ends up with teams full of walk ons.

The removal of the coaching xp slider to add in micro transactions for offline dynasty is a line in the sand for me

I played the 10 hour trial and thought the game has some good changes from last year.

There are clearly game breaking issues with dynasty and recruiting that will have to get patched. Seems like some fixes rolling out early next week. Hopefully they rethink their decision to monetize off line game modes with MTs and walk that back during the update.

If not, Ill sit this one out.

No one. The funny thing about that statement is that after 15 the flaws in the AI logic and they way the run CPU programs and recruit have usually set in a makes the save pointless. I dont suspect they have fixed those long term issues this year either.

I got to like 15 last year with Wyoming and then stopped playing after buying wwe. I made it to year 20 with New Mexico in 25.

If they fix the issues in the dynasty then I could see playing 20 plus with someone like NDSU.

Until they at least fix the recruiting issue I’m just play my LSU season and maybe try to work through winning every rivalry trophy.
