They turned it into a overwatch and rainbow6 clone

Never thought I'd see that

Interesting that the PC version is only going to be available on Battle.net like Destiny 2.

Like the last 5

WW2 was pretty well received. While some of them weren't very good (Ghosts/Infinite Warfare), they haven't all been bad.

I wonder if they'll ever get in trouble for re-releasing basically the same games over and over for full price.

I wonder if they will ever release a game that isn't the top seller.

Activision Blizzard’s blockbuster shooter, Call of Duty: WW2 was the best selling game of 2017 across all platforms, according to NPD’s December report. COD was also the highest selling game in December – the eighth consecutive year a Call of Duty title has taken the top spot over the holidays.

I didn't think Infinite Warfare sold all that well but I guess it did.

I think it's the least selling in the series, but still sold close to 13 million.

Wasn't as good as past games but still the best seller of 2016. This board loves to hate but the only game that ever has a chance to dethrone any CoD is a GTA release. FIFA has a shot on down years.

Nobody in here argues that the game won't sell a shite ton of copies. Pretty much everyone agrees the game will be popular, but popular =/= a good game.

The fact that they release them every year shows that they are more interested in making money than making it a good game. They have a formula that works. Release a game that will satisfy the fanbase for several months but also make them always want more.

Also see my first post and how it got down voted. All I said was it will sell like crazy. CoD crowd plus the BR craze.

But yea Cock is a troll and I know you guys points are valid.

I don't enjoy CoD games. I have only bought 1 in the last 10 years. Not white knighting, just not being absurd about it.

By saying it's dead, that's exactly what you're saying. Popularity doesn't equate to a good game, but the groupthink that it's immediately terrible isn't good either.

I dont understand why they have to be compared, they arent really the same except they are FPS. I understand people want to get in a game and veg out and shoot people, COD does that. I just think its done a shitty job of game development and support and its completely ok with taking the money and running.

Yeah they just need to remaster MW2 and then add their stupid crates and cod points and milk it for all its worth. If they kept up with the servers and beat down the hackers I would probably just play it perpetually and never try anything else lol
