WVU and Baylor happened, I texted you when I got back on....but no answer. I also skyped you.
I can not move on in the story until all side quests are completed, I think I have a problem.

There is only one "find the gun components" mission, and that was poking fun at the first game. They are all humorous imo

Just picked this game up and will hit it up after the LSU game is put away. Now I know how it felt for those jumping in the middle of the Skyrim thread because this one is about as long it seems.

eta: Got 3 now. For those at 50...if I use 3 at 50, do I get the same thing or new options everytime? Debating on 30, 40, 50 if the same

Go to "Extras" on the main menu and there should be a "Shift Code" option. You'll need to sign up for Shift, which isn't too involved. Then redeem the code there.
I'm on PC, so I'm just assuming it's the same on console.

It gives you loot randomized to your level. Coukd get weapons, grenades, or class mods

Dont get your hopes up though, jyst because it's a guaranteed purple doesn't mean it will be better than what you have. That may be bitterness talking but I used three keys at 50 and not one of them gave me something good.
