Do you agree with my opinion though?

Of course. You cant please everyone. Im okay with rinse and repeat of formulas that work. Bad Company worked...so why not use it every once and awhile.

I was and am. I've kept quiet and patient since 2012. It has been 6 years since Battlefield made a really really good game. I was the only fricker on this board who was passionate about the franchise when eveyone else was getting cucked by CoD. They just came off of a new WW1...i just don't get the move.

How come when we play we never see this map?

We can, there's a good dlc server that usually has a lot people in it.

Yeah we need to get on that. I love that night map. Didn’t realize it was DLC though. I knew the snow was.

I believe it was part of the Karkand dlc. I'll reinstall when I get home.

Will be nice to feel bullets connecting again.

Would be awesome if we could run a server that would stay populated. I’d pay for that.

BF going back to WWII
I ain't mad, but then I've been playing it since 1942, and that one was still the most fun.

I’m glad. BF1 was my favorite BF game since BF3. Playing COD WWII made me wish it was a WWII BF game with vehicles and massive maps with 64+ players and now we are getting that.

I'm all about this. I've been playing the series since the first game. Took time off after BF2 to avoid the Xbox live generation. This will have some great nostaligia to ride on it.

I've been looking forward to WWII games coming back and looks like COD missed the mark badly. DICE crushed BF1 out of the park if you ask me. Fantastic game. Both series have pedigree in WWII so who gives a shite who went back first more recently.

This is also cool because they took some artistic liberties on the weapons/tanks in BF1 and shouldn't really need to in BF1942v2

F'in A

WW2 games if done correctly, are always nailz. Plus you cater to more than the ADHD american gamers who need insta kills and one shot weapons.

Euro's will eat the game up if done correctly, as will hard core Battlefield peeps.

Before I got heavy into MP shooters, I loved playing all of those WWII campaigns. Maybe this will be the first great (edit: good) one in a while. That would really pique my interest.

Blame politicians and others for this not happening. The last time someone tried to put the taliban in a game (or something of the like), everyone lost their shite and made the developer change the name.

Dice has a pretty strong track record for terrible single player campaigns in Battlefield/Battlefront games.

I would say that's because they design the multiplayer assets first and try to form a single player campaign around maps already designed for multiplayer.
