I am. Everything I've seen looks great. Cool setting. More focus on combat. RPG elements included. The story trailer seemed pretty epic.

I am, but I won't be able to get it for some time, so it's slightly tempered.

I'm pretty excited about it, but I always buy games late so it will probably be a while before I play it.

I'm making a spreadsheet of games Carson DGAF about. I think it will be useful I'm making decisions on what to play next.

Thank you for always offering your input.

Nope. I'm going to cautiously keep my eye on it to see if Ubisoft unfricked themselves. After Unity, I was done with them and Assassin's Creed.

I’ll make it easy for you - if it’s a shitty game with repetitive, dull mechanics, forgettable plot & side missions, poorly written characters and dialogue, etc, you can add it to your list. Seems like these traits describe most games you enjoy, so you should be able to crank out a spreadsheet in no time

Preordered. I liked Syndicate, so as long as it's on it's level I'm good.

I don't think they'll ever top Brotherhood for me though.

I pre-ordered and am looking forward to it, but I can't say I'm "super excited." I've spent the last month replaying AC:2, Brotherhood, and Revelations so that's been fun.

Meh, the other two games coming out this week have me more excited (Mario and Wolf 2). Will pick it up later with a discount or B2G1 sale later in the year. Ubi games just don't really do it for me anymore.

Yep. I'm one of the biggest AC/Ubisoft fans around. I consider AC2 and Brotherhood one game and the GOAT. Played through those games at least 5 times each. I also liked Revelations. Black Flag is high on my list as well. Rogue never got a lot of love but it's a great game.

AC3 is the only game I didn't really like too much. I thought Unity was a good game and Syndicate was a great return to form.

I just finished Shadow of Mordor 2 Saturday night and I'm taking a break until Thursday night. Origins looks incredible as far as setting, scenery, time period and gameplay. The only thing I'm worried about is the main character looks pretty dry. The best AC games have the best characters.

Ezio is the GOAT video game character for me. Connor was boring and is in the only AC game I don't like. Kenway was fun and made Black Flag enjoyable. Jacob was also brash and fun and made Syndicate great.

I'm hoping Bayek is either a total bad arse or has more personality than is being shown so far.

It is one thing if Ubisoft has done anything to change things up. The closest thing was Black Flag. This game will be just like AC3. Less vertical and more horizontal, but same crappy story, annoying arse follow/eavesdropping missions, crappy mechanics.

Brotherhood is the only good game in the series. i played it before II, and II's combat felt wonky after playing Brotherhood.

couldn't stand the naval combat. played for about 4 or 5 hours and deleted it. got it as a free game of the month and i still felt gypped

yup. brotherhood is what got me hooked.

i enjoyed the naval combat, it was a nice change of pace and building a fleet was cool and a quick way to make money. When it comes to open world games I am a bit of an explorer and love checking out all the locations and uncovering the map. One of the reasons black flag was tolerable.
