Upgrading Nook's Cranny today, so that basically puts me on hold. Got a shite ton of expensive fish and bugs though to sell tomorrow.

I just got Curlos (sheep) for my first campsite visitor. I know he has to move in. Anyone know anything about him?

If anyone wants to find a good island for selling turnips just search for turnip on twitter and sort by new. You will find someone that just posts their dodo code in their twitter message eventually.

Anybody have any extra purple pansies, purple wildflowers, purple hyacinths, black cosmos, blue roses, or green mums? I'd leave nook miles tickets and/or gold nuggets in exchange

We have purple windflowers and purple hyacinths that we can spare. Both flowers are native to our island too so you could grab some starter seeds from Nooks too if you stopped by.

Campsite visitors won't move in unless you talk to them. If you talk to him once, he'll introduce himself. If you talk to him twice, you are forced into asking him to move in.

I have a bunch of extra fossils that I will check this afternoon. Pretty sure I have at least one Diplo Neck.
As for the flower breeding, I'm just getting started. I want to finish up my 10 boxes of flowers to the right of my entryway. My native flower is roses so I just read today that Orange Roses from a mystery island have a chance to breed and spawn either a blue rose or a hybrid red rose to use to spawn blue roses. I'm going to travel several times today to try to hunt as many as I can down and keep them isolated so I know what they are. I'm missing a bunch of the rarer colors that I want but I'm going to start reading more about them soon.

I think the only times they force a villager on you is to start the game, and every time you have an empty house sitting for more than a day. I'm pretty sure just ignoring villagers that come to your campground won't stay unless you invite them. I could be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure that's how it works.

I caught the Golden Trout without even trying. I couldn't get the damn Char for anything though. Finally got one a few days ago. I can't catch the Giant Trevally now. Wasted tons of bait so far. I am ready to catch some sharks next month

You can cross breed the orange and purple roses to get the hybrid red, which in turn gives you blue roses as well.

Turnip prices are $600 !! ... if anyone didn’t sell yesterday. Im pumped I saved up about 1/3 of mine anticipating a big spike.
