Also, was there always a derpy little music sequence whenever you talked to characters before the update? I usually almost lose it whenever I talk to Orville now. I don't know how I never noticed this before.

Yes--matter of fact you can change it by talking to Isabelle. Ditto with the island flag.

All kinds of stuff online to make it something specific and real. Orville's place is funny because it sounds like a kazoo, so if you do a metal or hard rock tune it's hilarious.

Got my island to 5 stars naturally. We didn't do anything except build it the way we wanted to build it. Didn't have to cover it in flowers or anything, so that is nice. It is really built up though. I focus on that before my house so I'm still in a 2 room house.

Our island is heavily Islands of Adventure themed. We finally found the last part of another T-Rex last night and built a Jurassic Park diner to go beside the museum. I found the Jurassic Park theme and it fits perfect for the amount of notes they allow you to use.

Also noticed that with a jukebox/music player by the center of town, the island people perform concerts all the time now where they'll randomly sing along with the music. At times a few others will sit in front of the one performing and watch. It's the little things.

I have only found one island that has had fruit that aren’t oranges.

Pisses me off.

Have a few pear trees but can’t find anything.

I think that's by design--one mystery island has a non-native fruit. You need to get the remaining fruits from other players.

I have other fruits if you need I can drop them at your dock.

Also, I have an extra gold dung beetle DIY recipe if anyone wants to trade?

I searched turnips on Twitter and flew to a strangers island to sell for like $400 something a turnip.

I debate if this is cheating or not but my 7 year old is playing on his and can't save money so basically I'm sharing funds with him.

I've settled on the fact that some consider it cheating while others consider it "playing the game."

I don't buy turnips all week long but I'm not opposed to selling turnips at the highest price possible regardless of the circumstance.

The one that says my island will never see prices above 120 bells.

Still 100% predictability.
