On consoles it's fine, because it was developed for consoles. But I guarantee you, you would get an even better product without problems in the first place if IW is not associated with Activision.

I have been planning on playing a match or two to give it another shot, but with BBC2 out today I don't know when that is going to happen. If BBC2 is good I'll stick with that.
I played MW2 enough to prestige one time, but that's when the care package glitch, javelin glitch, and the hacked servers started getting real bad.
It is also badly unbalanced. Running around with a knife should not be a valid option in a MP shooter where people have automatic weapons. Knifing when you sneak up on someone - fine. Knifing by running up to them through a hail of bullets then lunging 15 feet at them - total bullshite.

I agree. I hope they take a 1/3 of the distance out of the commando pro on the next update.

My biggest complaint with the game. While you are on the subject, the tac knife. You can't survive a stab in the shoulder blade but can survive two rounds in the chest from a high powered assault rifle? GTFO!

I am sick of noob tubes, thermal scopes, commando knifers, and air support non stop, but I still love this game and all of the stuff listed is fair and I could use the same tactics if I wanted so. Ill get over all of this.

Hardcore is cool for a bit, but it makes all of the weapons blend together too much. Each sniper rifle becomes almost the same.

Apparently the firing was due to IW not seeing a penny of royalties from the MW2 1bn dollar gross.

actually i think the noob tubes are way worse than the knife, and i realize everyone here uses them, but they really do cause a game balance issue
