Activision fires..(updated page 2 with possible reason)

Activision has fired the two lead devs from the Modern Warfare Dev Company Infinity Ward apparently due to insubordination.
Also annouced thata new COD game will release this year that was done buy the same studio that did W@W

The rest of the developers will probably walk out with them and start some other bullshite up, just like they did when the MoH developers left to start the Call of Duty series.

Activision is about to kill off Call of Duty. MW2 is a glitchy unbalanced pile of crap - we don't need MW3 right now.

ETA As glitchy as it is it is still the biggest selling game of all time. Doubt they kill it anytime soon. That would be a horrible business decision.

I agree..me and my buddies are trying to figure out what the "insubordination" was..We think it was either Activision trying to rush the DLC to hit before or at the BC2 release.

I said it a ton on here before MW2 came out, and I'll say it again. MW2 is fricking crap. I boycotted the game because activision is forcing Infinity Ward to do things that they don't want to do in developing their games. This is why the "insubordination" happened.
MW2 on PC is a fricking joke. No lean, no user console, no dedicated servers. Garbage rushed game that makes money from ignorant people.

Not intentionally kill it off, but do it by overexposing it. And that is the glitchiest piece of crap MP ever. Yes, it sold huge numbers because COD4 was so good. Two months after it came out you cannot hardly have a game without some kind of glitching going on. I haven't touched it in two months and don't intend to until it gets fixed. People I know are pissed and don't play it. In comparison we played COD4 for well over a year.
